Slimming World has dumbed down nutrition to a Syn based point system which consists of many ‘bad’ options like this Mars Bar which would be around 11.4 syns🤷🏻‍♂️ to a Slimming World user, that’s a no no! But changing that to proper values, 229 calories is really not the end of the world and I could easily fit that into any bodies diet and still be losing fat!⠀

The ‘Free Foods’ is also problematic as you can eat those almost risk-free on a Slimming World program which is odd because those foods could push your weekly calorie intake way higher than you intended meaning you may not lose fat that week☹️⠀

Slimming World is like gambling, you’re telling yourself you can’t eat Mars Bars when you want them, you’re restricting food choices and you also don’t know if you’re going to be losing any fat at the end of the week until you step on the scales after paying £20 a month for your ‘assessment’⠀

I am not attacking anybody who has done this or currently does this, I’m simply offering you the knowledge to change your diet to one that you enjoy and one that is calculated and made for results to be seen on the scales 👌⠀

I advise you use your height/weight stats in an online calorie calculator to estimate your daily calorie amount, then use ‘MyFitnessPal’ where you can scan your food/meals into it and it will count the calories👍⠀

If I had £1 for every time someone says to me “I wish I had your motivation!” Don’t get me wrong I take it as a compliment but there’s nothing between you and your motivation other than you! 👊🏻 •

Nearly 4 years now I’ve been going to the gym 🏋🏻‍♀️ 4 times a week every single week without fail. Along with eating home prepared lunches everyday, cooking healthy dinners & breakfasts every day, and saying no to the crap that’s in the office daily 😂 this year I’ve added to that running between 1 & 3 times a week every single week training for this #halfmarathon and again haven’t missed one 🏃🏻‍♀️ •

Don’t get me wrong I am ALL about balance so my weekends still consist of cheese, alcohol, cookie dough, ice cream and everything in between! 🍫 I take 2 full rest days a week too. But my point is if you want results you have to work for them! (Apart from those few people we all know that get away with murder and have perfect bodies 👀 😂)

And some people would probably be gutted with this ‘transformation’ if they were putting that much in for the last 4 years but trust me loosing fat and building muscle (whilst having a life and sedentary job) takes serioussssss time! And building muscle is far harder than just loosing weight unfortunately 😒

My biggest advice is to make things routine not options & to do things that you enjoy! In regards to food & exercise! If you hate it you can’t make it a habit so switch it up! 💛

1.51 according to Fitbit but I zig zagged so 1.53 official time 🙈 which is still 6 minutes off the last one ☺️
When I was at school I would think up every single excuse not to take part in P.E and end up doing things like clean the teachers fridge instead 😭and now I am voluntarily running 13.1 miles on a Sunday morning 🙈 #halfmarathon

It’s Sunday people, back to work for finish tomorrow! 🙋🏼‍♂️

For me I’m only in work tomorrow then having an operation on Tuesday then recovering! .
Are you one of those people that draws money from the ATM machine at dinner time to buy lunch? .
Do you struggle to put food together for work so end buying a meal deal at your local boots thinking it’s super healthy? .
Are you on one of those diets where you don’t eat food, just has a shake, or a lettuce leaf and think your going to lose loads of weight and sustain it? .
Do you make excuses up that you can’t cook, you have no time, or what ever bollocks you come up with? .
Anyway my page just gives you little ideas, I’m a full time shift worker myself (truck driver)🚛, a father, a Carer for my mum who is poorly and blind, and I have my own hobbies to do as well such as my little workouts, my cooking, etc. I just like using basic fresh food that’s going to give you some good ideas on how to stay on track and get lean. (My results are there for you to see) 🙌🏽😊
