The same confused face I make every time I get asked a question I already know the answer to 🙈-Thank you to all the women who came out today and listened to me speak and to the other women who came out and shared a piece of their story. I appreciate those women who came up to afterward and felt comfortable enough to open up to me. These are moments I live for. The thing is, I’m still healing myself and a lot of us are, speaking about the things that have once made you feel broken become easier and easier each time you speak about it, anyone can do this but in their own time. ❤️ Thank you @girlfriends_and_champagne for having me on your panel! #womenempoweringwomen#girlfriendsandchampagne

Just wanted to take minute to give a shout out to @jessiemedinaofficial the founder of @femlatinas who has been working so hard to put together such an amazing event this Saturday which has #soldout in #SanDiego ! My hat goes off to women like her who are creating and executing! So proud of you! Although I can’t make it out this weekend due to prior engagements, I know it will be such as success! You’re doing it #Queen follow @femlatinas so many great things happening for women within her network ❤️ #femex
One year ago, I walked into my first networking event with zero business experience, zero money to invest and was the youngest female + only woman of color with 80 percent of the business owners being primarily older men. After going around the room hearing of all the businesses talk about their success and accomplishments, I decided to skip speaking and sharing who I was, I felt silly since I had nothing under my belt, all I had was a vision. I started to think my age + being a woman especially being a woman of color would make things difficult for me to ever level up. I will never forget how discouraged I felt that day. I remember telling myself I hope no woman ever has to feel like she can’t not succeed because of her age, skin color, years in business or how much money is available to start with. -
That networking event consisting of 50 people has inspired me to start a network that has grown ten times bigger than that consisting of 500 people minimum making space for all those things that made me feel I wasn’t enough. These events are still growing with new partnerships throughout US. -
This is only year one. With God as my solid foundation I am doing everything I thought I couldn’t do and #growing and that’s my success. If I can help someone to see things they can’t see in themselves just like someone did for me I’m good with that.
I’m looking forward to sharing everything that has made me feel like I wasn’t enough and how it’s actually motivated me to discover and love all the things that I am!- I hope to inspire someone else who has been in in my very same shoes.- Catch me speaking twice this month first at @marriotthotels in LA with @girlfriends_and_champagne and at @thewomensempowermentexpo Next Saturday 👑

Last year I attend my first @womensmarch and it was such a memorable experience being able to listen to different testimonies discussing the issues women have faced or are still facing today. Some things were heartbreaking to hear but it was also so powerful to see the strength these women had who still keep fighting and haven’t given up. It means so much to me to take part in historic moments and makes me so proud to be a woman ❤️ Back at it again this Saturday!Round 2! Can’t wait ! Thank you @onairwithkat for introducing me to this wave of strong women just like you 👑 Also, @thewomensempowermentexpo Is a week away 🙌🏿 Excited for this month!
Don’t spend too much time trying to figure out why things didn’t work out, why you may not be where you want to be, worry about what or who you don’t have and don’t ever think that there is something wrong with you. Some of us carry so many insecurities from our past, our upbringing, and previous relationships not even realizing it. We go through life being extremely hard on ourselves not even noticing how much it’s affecting us and others around us. The thing is, our past can’t be changed but that doesn’t mean our circumstances define who we are. As an adult, when we decide we want to be get out of those cycles that make us feel trapped and are willing to put in the work starting within is when the transformation will begin. You will begin to heal and you will begin to grow. You will begin to heal that child who you thought lacked so much. You will begin to stop putting so much energy into impressing others, trying to fix things and situations you have no control over and stop worrying about what people think of you. You will quit trying to paint the perfect image of yourself for people, for social media and put that energy where it matters. At the end of the day we are the ones that have to live with ourselves, might as well put some love into that relationship and just love who we were created to be. Standing here with no brush to this mop, no make up to this face and just dooont care because I know I am more focused on the inside for me not just for what I want people to see and I still feel like I’m <3 #queenin 👑

There’s 3 powerful women that I follow, that I know and that I’ve met recently met. I sit back and watch God continue to bless them the way they bless others. One thing that doesn’t go un noticed is that all these women use their talents and their platforms for the good, they stay humble and stay true to who they are. I pay attention to the transparency demonstrated when they share not only their achievements but also their struggles and the world needs more women like this, it’s a reminder that no matter how big a battle is to keep going, because you will get to where you need to be. Thank you for continuing to use your talents to help the underprivileged women and youth in this world. Empowered women, empower women. Y’all are my inspiration and living proof when you do good, the good will comeback in abundance. Swipe Right👉🏾 #wcw@idayallday@onairwithkat@roslynnc#inspirationalwomen
