One of the most famous health and weight loss professionals in the world shared my photo yesterday — and now there are so many new faces!
Let me fill you in on how I got here:
When I first started, I was a journalist in Downtown Cincinnati. I was working 60+ hours a week, and I was exhausted all the time. I spent most of my nights crashed on the couch with a bottle of red wine.
I had no energy and no motivation, and my knees were sore daily.
Then one day I saw a Facebook memories photo of myself. I was at least 50 pounds lighter.
It was shocking and unsettling. And it was that same exact day that my Facebook friend popped into my feed saying she was opening an accountability group.
She set me up with a basic program — 30-minute workouts I could stream at home and a simple nutrition plan. She added me to a group where we were in it together.
We started on the same day — checking in daily for accountability, exchanging recipes and cheering each other on. It was a total game changer.
I dropped the extra weight — 82 pounds, to be exact.
But I never could have imagined how it would change my life inside, too — the energy, the confidence and the friendships. 💕
