  • I just read something on pinterest that said “I love sleep because it’s like a time machine to breakfast” and I have honestly never read anything more accurate in my life 🥓🍳🥞

  • Confidence has so many internal markers that we can try to work toward! Such as:
🌹Doing what you believe to be right, no matter what others think of you
🌹Being willing to take risks and go the extra mile in order to get better results
🌹Admitting your mistakes and learning from them
🌹Being aware of your strengths and weaknesses and working on them

The list just goes on on, but often we also need external factors that line up too.
Whether that be confidence in our bodies and the way we move them, the food we eat, or what we put on our skin.
Taking care of those external things gives you the little subconscious boost that you are worth the extra time and money and effort.
Now, I’ve been on a journey (yes, a journey🤤as typical as it sounds) with my skin for the past decade and its highlighted that I had to make massive changes to my diet, lifestyle and mental health in order to externally show that I’m healthy and balanced on the inside too.
I won’t get into my whole skin story because it’s a long and sad one, but for the purpose of this post I’ll skip to the part where i found the lovely ladies at @barelaserandskin which are currently helping me get rid of the last few concerns I have with my largest organ.
If you’re looking at sorting out anything skin related I could not stress the importance and impact that going to people who specialise in it and are passionate about it can make.

We are so incredible lucky to be living with access to an abundance of sources that can help and guide us with pretty much any concern we have. From self help books and Philosophers to clinicians and psychologists.
Getting to the stage where you feel confident in yourself is a matter of practice, patience and perseverance.
