This isn’t my coat anymore. I counted my blessings and parted with all of the coats I just bought and donated them to a local coat drive. It’s getting cold outside and as I hug Aspen, Hayes & Hart I realized that many moms and dads out there can’t do the same without fear of literally going cold this winter, but I can help them. Please read my blog (link in bio) to read about why “I gave the shirt off my back” and how you can also get involved (and more pics of my experience). I’ve added linked to coats for you to purchase and donate PLUS links to coat drives around the US - you can even start your own! Stay warm 🤗 #coatdrive#givingback#Doyourpart 🧥 🧣
📍Just a reminder we are still collecting coats for our families in need here at EBS Food Program. There are many families who just moved into our community and are in need of essential warm clothing. Please drop off your donation all sizes welcome to out location in 39 Piedmont st. Worcester, MA
Tuesdays: 11:00 am - 2:00 pm & Fridays: 11:00 am - 2:00 pm
Thank you to all who donated to the North Smithfield PD coat drive, and thank you to all the schools who helped make it possible! We completely filled 2 patrol vehicles worth of donated items and brought them to Clothes to Kids RI. They were extremely great full and gave Officer Avila and I a tour of the facility. We were able to see first hand families being assisted by this great organization. As their motto goes, “Clothe a Child~Change a Life” #coatdrive#srosquad 👮🏻♀️ #communitypolicing#northsmithfield#northsmithfieldpolice#lowes 📦

There are 7 days left to check your closets for clean gently worn coats and outerwear like hats, gloves and scarfs. Yesterday we discovered we didn't have enough older kids sizes from grade school up.
Also not all selected Eastside shelters have received a first delivery drop yet we need more coats. Here's the link to learn more about the coat drive collection locations: http://www.zaragozaparkneighborhoodassn.org/coat-drive.html
This season we hosted three winter warmth days which served more than 400 people in the District who are experiencing homelessness or otherwise wouldn't have access to cold weather gear. We have plenty of emergency coats stored that are available for our clients and will no longer be accepting coat donations this season.
This wouldn't have been possible without the support of every business and individual who hosted coat drives to support our community! This year, we even had our first dry cleaning partnership with @dryydc which we're incredibly grateful for <3
