Happy Monday everyone! 🥰Hope your weekend was great. It’s a whole new week and I’m so ready to crush one goal at a time.
Before I used to look forward to the weekend and just being free from work. Friday’s and weekends were my motivation. Nowadays it’s changed. I look forward to making plans and goals for the week and getting them done! GOALS ARE MY MOTIVATION! Seriously, we ALL agave big plans for ourselves and sometimes we end up not doing anything to achieve them because they’re so overwhelming and so important that we feel like we’re not able to do it.
I get that, and to help you with that.. try setting smaller goals or short term goals for your main goal. That way you won’t feel like it’s too much for you to do. Next thing you’ll know, you’re one step closer and closer to your main goal this year.
This applies for fat loss or muscle gain. 20 lbs seems so much, but if you allow to set a goal to lose 1 lb per week, it won’t be as bad as you think. Thing with us is that we’re so impatient. We want results RIGHT away, but nothing good comes that easy. I mean, you can but it’s NOT SUSTAINABLE. You only set yourself further behind than where you are. Take it one step at a time. One day at a time.

LONG WEEKEND I AM HERE FOR IT🙌🏼 However, I was not here for the packed rec center earlier today🙄 literally packed like sardines🐟 up in there.
Who is ready to tackle this week?!? I know I am😎 Already feeling good vibez about it, because only 4 days of class, no chem lab🔬 #BLESS , and I’m already ahead on most of my school work🤓. Honestly if ya keep a positive outlook and stay on track, you’ll crush every week👊🏼.

What’s your escape ?
I grew up insecure about a lot of stuff but mainly about not speaking English, not having friends after moving here from Europe and not knowing what the f is going on in my life.
I met my closest friends though sports and fitness became a part of my routine that allowed me to escape into a different world where I was in control and I felt independent and capable.
I actually don’t know who I would’ve turned into without sports and the right support system. Find your escape. Build yourself up. Love yourself while you’re at it.

Four months ago I made a commitment to myself and made exercise a priority. As the kids are getting older I've been able to make my health and fitness a priority which has had a positive impact on all aspects of my life: parenting, work, relationships and self.
