This is our little “water closet” that doesn’t use water 😅 Swipe to see “Before”. We kept it simple in this space’s renovation and decor. We added faux board and batten to break up the space with duo tones. We didn’t want to deal with a black tank, so we installed a Nature’s Head... best decision EVER. To fill that awkward portion of the wall I hung up one of my film prints.
Started from the bottom now we're here 🙌🏻 // A little less tan, a lot more white & a lot more homey! Not everything is complete yet (we plan on putting cork over those now frosty glass cabinet doors above the dinette, & making oak rails for our book shelves) but all in due time.
Swipe for another before ➡️ 😷 We still need to frame out the tall mirror to the left and build a vanity mirror frame. I’m having a hard time finding a smaller mirror that isn’t too heavy, so we decided we’d just have to cut our own. 🤔 #cozyonwheels

Well... I did it! I cooked in this kitchen 🙌🏻 and by cooked I mean made sandwiches 🥪 and by made sandwiches I mean that my 3 year old grabbed the bread and I handed him a slice of cheese 💁🏼♀️ -
Can’t believe we are actually living in an RV🧡 so far we are loving it (it’s only been one day 🙈)

Full-time travel burnout. It’s a thing. It certainly may not happen to everyone, but it is most definitely a thing. .
.
I will be the first one to admit that before we were traveling (and I was near-obsessively following other full-timers), I couldn’t understand when they would choose to end their travels early or talk about feeling worn out and missing their home base. Even in the “honeymoon phase” of the first few months of full-time travel, my reaction was “are you kidding me?” Full-time travelers are living the dream! .
.
It’s amazing how much more on the same wavelength Stephen and I are after all of this 24/7 QT. A couple of days ago we looked at each other and both acknowledged we were feeling the same way; since leaving Colorado we have felt...tired. Burned out from traveling quickly and from too many cities back-to-back. For myself, the struggle of balancing work with travel and “not missing anything” seems more difficult than usual. We don’t know what the solution is, but we are really looking forward to getting out of the cities and back to some National Parks and “the middle of nowhere” destinations soon.

We felt unsettled when we left.
It’s been 24 hours since leaving our safe bubble that is our hometown to kick off full time travel. It was difficult for both of us to feel excitement; we both felt unsettled and anxious.
The root of it all might just be fear of the unknown. The idea of leaving our bubble? Leaving our friends? Leaving the comfort of old habits?
Traveling this way can be scary, but this morning we woke up to this view in our living room. We walked our dogs at sunrise, with coffee warming our hands as we watched the morning light inch over these mountains. In those moments, it reminds us that this is worth it, and that fear of the unknown and uncomfortable is normal.
I just wanted to mention one☝🏽quick thing about living in an RV at an RV park. While most parks do have mailboxes, the offices generally don’t accept packages 📦 from UPS and FedEx, or Amazon Prime. So ordering things online can be a little tricky. Not that you should be ordering a bunch of shit and spending unnecessary money anyway. But if you do “need” to order something you do have some options. You can use Amazon Locker, you can do in-store pick up, you can choose to pick your package up at a nearby UPS store or, for FedEx packages, you can have them delivered to the nearest Walgreens location and pick them up there. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I did in-store pickup at Walmart for my decorative pillows and in-store pickup at Target for my trash can 🗑 I had my broom delivered to a nearby UPS location, my motorcycle / scooter carrier delivered to a nearby Walgreens, and I used Amazon Locker for all the other little things I wanted for my RV. Everything had to be black and stainless steel [I’m picky] so I did a lot of shopping around, ordering and picking up in the beginning. It gave me a chance explore all of the options above and they’re all super easy. Just make sure you have UPS and FedEx online accounts. That way you can change your deliveries 🚚 to pickups with a few simple clicks.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Just something to think about and prepare for if you’re considering the RV life. ✌🏽 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Today I worked out in my RV again! Its so cold and it being a cardio core day I had the ability workout in the warmth again. But tomorrow requires more room and weights so I will have to suck it up, haha! 👀
-
Love today’s workout for the fact that the core is a huge focus and they are done on sliders...challenging but definitely ab shapers 😁👍❤️

If you have been following me, you will know that sticking to an organized program at this moment in my life is tough, but its doable and I am learning patience with myself...but mostly how important community is when reaching goals! Are you ready to join our community and begin your own journey? Message me 👊🏻❤️😁

The friendly and nosey campsite pheasant!
This fastidious pheasant patrols the Hertford campsite several times a day, inspecting the new arrivals. He didn't shake a feather to our 4 kitties staring him down through the window 😎
Not everyday is a day filled with sightseeing, hiking, and fun as a full time RVer. Sometimes you have to spend the afternoon at a laundromat 😕 But hey, some sacrifices are worth it to live a nomadic life! 😁 .
What would be the hardest thing for you to give up if you moved from a traditional home into an RV? .
At the age of twenty-five, my central concern is the prospect of a new kind of life. I’ve spent a great deal of time trying to connect the dots and make sense of what is, seemingly, an epidemic of financial struggle and stress in the lives of American people. I’ve been trying to identify the foundation of the problem and find ways to prevent the repetition, for myself at least. & what I’ve discovered is that we are living in an ecosystem designed to make us overspend, from the social and cultural practices of modern society to the various businesses and government programs that exist to persuade and help us indulge. & I think this, the things we buy, borrow, and subscribe to are the causes of our financial troubles, our stress about money, and our exhaustion. We think our jobs are the issue, but it’s really all the “stuff” we’re working so hard and so much to get / keep. I know I’ve said this before, but I’ll keep saying it because this is what I believe and I’m serious about making a change. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This caption may seem super irrelevant / unrelated but when I look at these pictures I see that this is the woman I’ve become. Smart, thoughtful, curious, fearless. A woman who doesn’t just mindlessly follow the rules. Who challenges the normality of the world, and isn’t afraid to explore, experiment, discover. & I just hope🤞🏽that my momma is proud and my brother is inspired. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Oh, and please excuse my puffy helmet hair. It’s just part of the scooter life 🤷🏽♀️🛵💨 and I’m honestly cool with it. 😎 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

What do you do for a romantic Valentines weekend when you live in 400 ft² with two kids 24/7/365? Go to the Bellagio! We decided we needed a little staycation, which is kind of ironic since we travel fulltime. But we had a great weekend, lavish hotel, wonderful food, beautiful mountain views, fun on the strip, the moon sat on the Eiffel Tower (see pic), and glorious peace and quiet. ❤️ Of course since we have teens, they had to give their opinions about it. They said “We *know* what you’re going to do and we don’t want to hear anything about it because ew.”
Kids are wonderful blessings, right? 😁
I think we reorganize our rig every week or so😅. Hubby did these cool plant hangers so my little green friends have a place of their own. Also shelve pockets for my books and journals, and Ikea drawer organizers for keeping bathroom things in one place (I use them for kids crafts and their personal things). Open shelves look great but not very practical when you're on the move (which we are not, but soon will be). What's your favorite organizing hack for small spaces?

I don’t think I’ve introduced our pups yet! These are our best friends. They’re both rescues, and both huge cuddle bugs.
