When we receive mixed signals, we tend to want to fill in the blanks. "Maybe they are just busy", "maybe they don't care about me", etc. Sometimes we internalize their indecision with us being the problem. If we just do this or that maybe something will change. Maybe they will finally choose us. But here is a reminder that if someone is not showing up for you, it has nothing to do with you. If someone is giving you mixed signals, don't get lost in the analysis of why. The analysis is blocking you from sitting with how you feel. No matter what the reason may be, indecision is a decision. Remember that if someone wants to make you a priority, they will. If they don't, this has nothing to do with your worth. Don't let mixed signals trap you, see them for what they are (a dance that can mess with our minds, stop an feel, and act accordingly. #nytherapist

“According to research by social psychologist Dr. David McClelland of Harvard, the people you habitually associate with determine as much as 95 percent of your success or failure in life.” #getverb
Thank you everyone for the bday love, I’m blessed💗 Despite the smile I won’t lie, prior to this week I‘ve been freaking out at the fact that I was turning 25 & not bc I’m ”old” but like how tf did this happen so fast. I’ve been so down on myself bc I’m not where I thought I’d be at this age and honestly still don’t know where I want to be. I’m learning that’s okay and it’s all about perspective. We all figure out our paths at different times and not knowing creates some excitement bc anything is possible at this moment. I’m trying not to get so caught up in looking forward to the next part of my life and forgetting that I’m currently in a part that I was looking forward to a couple years ago and that’s finishing my degree. In a few months I won’t have to feel like I’m “stuck” in college anymore & I can focus on figuring out what I like to do and what will r e a l l y make me happy. I’ve been thinking more about that lately and it’s finally leading me to some things. There’s so much I want to do and I feel like this is my year. So, cheers to that🥳🥂
Grateful for the opportunity to work with such an awesome team of amazing people ✌️ #Repost@jackfleckney9 with @get_repost

A great day yesterday talking about the future and how we can continue to improve 🙌
Thank you for all of your hard work so far team and I can’t wait to attack the next year 💪
Today we want to talk about the difference between your checking account and savings account. Checking accounts are for your everyday spending and your monthly liability payments. There is typically little to no earnings on this money and it is very accessible. Savings accounts should be money that is set aside for bigger purchases and emergency funds. —————————-
You should explore savings accounts with higher interest rates to help you accumulate savings faster. Right now, you can earn about 2% compounding interest on savings accounts, so make sure you do your research. —————————-
Be careful of minimum account fees, charges for not keeping your money in these type of accounts long enough, and keeping enough money in your checking account so you don’t have to tap into your savings for normal spending needs. —————————-
When you designate certain funds for these purchases and emergencies, you avoid having to use credit cards or loans, and therefore keep yourself on track for your long term savings goals like retirement, college planning, and investing. —————————-
Reach out to Michael Waterhouse with any questions on savings accounts, proper debt management and cash flow needs. Have a great week everybody!

It becomes easier to explore the emotional aspects and thus you can comprehend the true importance of responsive parenting.
