PS:I generally fail to explain to those who ask me why do I climb mountains ...what do I get out of it.. but then today this picture says it all.. Every moment of kokankada climb is as awesome and as intense as this picture.. I can remember every breath, every moment and every thought which came to mind while climbing.. and I m sure no matter how many times I climb this almighty kokankada it will give me something new every single time. Because it is just not about the climb, it is about the place which adds its flavour in it
...The place where your body, mind and soul are in sync..

Pallava period stone carving depicting Lord Shri Krishna lifting the Govardhan Parvat to protect cowherds & cowherdesses from storm raised by Lord Indra. Interesting among them are the Gopi holding sling of pots and bundles of fodder, wood cutter with an axe and cows being milked, all of them with such calmness as if they are not aware of fury of Indra's storm. The whole depiction has no parallels all over India. It is possibly of Narashimhavarman 1 period.
There was a layer of fog over the water thats evident in the photo. Couldn't believe such a place exists so close to Mumbai.

I wish we had a park out there on the banks of Surya Putri Tawi.
Started a decade ago, one of the biggest sewage treatment plants (STP) in J&K still remains underutilised as the executing agencies have failed to connect individual households with the main sewer system.
