After climbing for 5 days, we reached Annapurna Base Camp, which is located at a height of 4130m. We woke up early (braving the extreme cold) and watched the first rays of the sun fall on the mountain peaks all around us.

The mountain in the background is Mt. Machhapuchhare, commonly known as the Fish-Tail peak. This peak dominated the entire trek and very quickly became my favourite sight to look out for.
