I just was able to get to the review images from yesterday's storm. While not one of my best images, I had an exhilarating time hiking into the headlight at 5 a.m. Vehicle gates were closed shut but...a side gate for foot traffic was open. Just myself and another buddy were in the park for a few hours. We scrambled through snow drifts and took a few tumbles with hidden ice under the snow. We joked that we felt like we were in Norway on an expedition.
Snow and sleet were pelting us with NNE 30-45 mph winds directly into the camera lens and stinging our faces. I had a very difficult time with the lens getting coated with ice and freezing ocean spray.
In the end, it was just an amazing little adventure. #adventuretime#portlandmaine#portlandheadlight#maine#themainemag#themaine#storm#nikond850#snow
Question of the day: Will you still be able to see the front door of this house after this weekend’s blizzard?? 🥶 thanks 📸 @the.chris.spencer_

✨Moment of Clarity✨
7.7% Milk Stout🖤🌰🍺
brewed and conditioned with coffee, chocolate, and dark amber maple syrup.
A super thick, very rich and creamy decadent beer with those complex and dense flavors throughout. But yet it's still got this delicate fluffy and velvety mouthfeel that makes this brew to go down pleasantly easy(TOO damn easy!)Treehousebrewco's stout beers are where it's at!!!🥂🍻
No other people I’d rather be stuck in a snowstorm with❤️ We’ve never seen so much snow in our lives😂
A lot of people keep asking me how we are adjusting out here, and to be honest...we are still slowly making this our new normal. Seth and I had our parents to help with the kids when we were back in New Mexico and now we don’t have anybody out here! It’s a huge change. It was the biggest thing I was worried about when we moved but I’m starting to see the silver living in it all. We only have each other to rely on and we’ve become so much closer as a family. Seth and I have really had to step up and grow so much in such a short amount of time. I’m proud of us though. And although it isn’t always easy, we love our new home so much!
Wake up, hug your dog, hustle. ⠀
Mondays are my busiest day of the week.
💃🏼In my personal life⠀
💡At my day job⠀
💻Working my business. ⠀
Looking at my calendar it would be easy to feel overwhelmed.
But most of the time, working my business doesn’t feel like work at all.
It’s more like... ⠀
👯♀️Hanging out with friends from across the country. ⠀
🐶 Snuggling with my pups.
💭 Dreaming big. ⠀
If anyone needs me (or Larry) for the rest of the night, we’ll be working our hustle from the couch, while we sip hot cocoa.
Let me know if you want more info on this wild ride that I call a side hustle. I’d love to chat!
It’s been snowing now for at least nine hours. When I was little we had a sled like this and we lived in a big hill in rural #maine My siblings and I would pile on top and hurtle down the hill as fast as we could with a running, luge-like start. ❄️
This brings me back to the chilly days when I could barely feel my face after a day of #sledding — this painting will make its debut at @utahartmarket February 1-2
When was the last time you had some play time in the snow? ❄️ #winter ❄️ #sleddingfun#childhoodmemory#snowdays
