Gratitude is part of my daily morning routine and I truly believe it is a practice everyone can adopt. 👌⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For me it looks like sipping on my morning coffee and making a point form list with the heading “Today I am grateful for...” . ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I used to think that these gratitude list items needed to be big and at times it stopped me from writing. I have realized that these items for me are many times the little things that at times get over looked... such as a loved one making you dinner, a text from a friend you haven’t seen in a while, a stranger holding a door for you, or the sun beaming down on your face..⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When we give attention to these wonderful moments in our lives and feel gratitude for them...the universe gives us more to be grateful for! & How does it get better than that?💖⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I’m not gonna lie this whole getting mentally healthy thing is hard. When you have in your mind a certain body type you want, but you have a completely different one it can be frustrating. My body will never be a skinny girl (healthfully anyway) and I know in my heart that’s ok, but my broken mind just has to catch up. .
So if you’re on the same struggle bus, girl you’re not alone! .
