Having said that, staring at this pic gives me a little boost of that proverbial #mondaymotivation and the prod to remember I'm only feeling glumpy because I'm stuck here working whilst my wife is off having fun adventures. Though actually it seems like she's mostly been rained on if the pictures are anything to go by.... So I'm planning for the next adventure I get to have in this wicked little van and definitely not doing any gear shopping to help me fill the storage space. Honest....

Interesting place. I randomly hear of this place by a fellow #WIN (Wondering Individual Network) at Quartzsite, #AZ . There is literally NOTHING for miles and miles. I was expecting more of a #natural#pool setting, this was more #touristy and plainly simple. I could have been in #MiddleTown , USA.
We had such a great day with our friends today. They are us but 20 years from now. Our similarities are so crazy it’s funny and we all just spent the day talking && laughing. Such a magical day. I’m thanking the Lord for giving us today together. 🌊

Mermaid Caves was such a cool stop we did today! I was a chicken & could not jump into the cave but Swipe over to see the video of Lael jumping in when the waves come in. 🧜🏻♀️Locals here are super friendly. They are always nice && helpful every where we go. There were two locals jumping in and having a blast letting us know the right times to jump in.🧜🏻♀️

We visited the Devil's Water Hole at Inks Lake State Park in Burnet, TX today! A natural pool created by a waterfall that was crystal clear. And the butterflies were EVERYWHERE! So I've been kinda trialling 4.5 mm fibre cement board as flooring this week 🤔.. yes true 😆 it gets better.. I have been thinking about laying real floor tiles 😁. The other option is just painting with a concrete paver type paint which would be good enough if you were on a tight budget I think as it's firm under foot.. But those real tiles would be so good for Bon or even me to stretch out on when it's hot.
To literally weight things up..
The remaining ply and laminate flooring I pulled out totalled 55kg.. with cement sheet and real tiles.. would total about 70kg.. tiles being around 50 kg alone in standing area only which would also counter balance the left side of van... Having trouble deciding as I also know just how cold the floor gets in winter ❄️and also, I just want to save as much weight as i can for other things... The Hoover Dam is impressive even if you don’t know the impressive history behind it. We loved learning about how more people were against its construction than for it, that it was one of the most dangerous work environments of that time and despite the odds being not in its favor this massive structure was built two years AHEAD of schedule😳. Kinda makes you feel like a slacker, doesn’t it?😂 On top of it all, it truly took our breaths away. Ok, mostly because we were gasping every time one of the kids got an inch too close to the wall😬. #hooverdam#damnhooverdam#breathtaking#manmadebeauty
