So the past 9 months have thrown me out of my comfort zone. Prior to May of last year I was running 4 miles a day, nearly every day.. I wasn’t me if I wasn’t running. It helped me keep my sanity. But since May, I have gone through a divorce and also had some serious health issues. I became sedentary, unmotivated and all I wanted to do was eat.
Fast forward to now. I am in a much better place mentally and it’s time to work on the rest of me. I have a few Spartan trifectas planned for this year, along with a few other mud runs and a half marathon but I am not going to accomplish any of it by sitting on my butt.
Today was day 2. Day 2! Day 2 of getting myself back into physical shape to complete this years’ goals. I got this! AROO!!!!

Remember that awful, long, rocky, uphill #wirecrawl at #spartanaz last year? Here’s hoping @spartan forgets to put it on course this weekend!
This weekend, the world of obstacle course racing descends on the city I’ve called home for the last send years, and I couldn’t be more excited to send it through the swampland against some of the best Age Group competitors around. Let’s dance! 🤙🏻 #TeamOCRBeast
My #tbt goes out to the 3 ultras I did in the past 10 months (not including spartan) this has really become a quest for the best version of myself and I’m honored to have met so many beautiful people in this events!!! Ability is what you're capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it.

Our February @GORUCK Club Callout is here and with it, another opportunity to earn a new patch. This one should be... interesting.
The challenge is simple. We need to tie ourselves together and ruck 3 miles in a long chain.
This is the PERFECT ruck to bring a friend! We'll literally be stuck together, so no need to worry about falling behind or anything like that. So grab a friend or two and bring them along!
Let's try to make as long a chain as possible :)

Hey guys, welcome to my new IG! If you followed me on @hurricane_allie you know a bit more about me and my personal life. If not, then this post is especially for you. I wanted to start this page with a little ‘get to know me’.
I’m Allie, I’m 24 years old and one of my biggest passions is obstacle course racing. I started racing in 2018, and did a few races including @citychallengerace (my very first), @spartanrace, @bonefrog_, @tough_mudder, and @warriordash. In the rest of my time, I work for Starbucks, hike with my dog, read books, and hang out with my boyfriend and fellow athlete @coreybriddes. I can’t wait to share my race year with you guys and see where this year takes us.
