The Sony a6500 is a great camera in many ways. It offers excellent image quality, autofocus performance and video capabilities including 4K and slow motion, all inside a very compact body with a built-in EVF.
There is, however, an elephant in the room: its predecessor the a6300. The two cameras are so similar that it's difficult to know which to choose. The biggest advantage the a6500 has over the a6300 is the inclusion of 5-axis stabilisation but it only makes a difference with non-stabilised lenses. If you use Sony OSS lenses, you aren’t losing much by choosing the a6300.
If you take a look at the best-selling mirrorless cameras online, the model that consistently makes it into the top three is the Sony a6000. 📷 "But it's an old camera!" I hear you saying. "Why is it still so popular?" Well, despite being nearly five years old and having two successors, it is still an excellent all-rounder, with a 24MP APS-C sensor, built-in EVF, good hybrid AF system even by today's standards, 11fps continuous shooting, and compact dimensions. Most importantly, all this comes in a very reasonably priced package. Granted, it doesn't have 4K video capabilities like most recent mirrorless models, but if you mostly shoot stills anyway, this small downside isn't going to bother you.
Today we are going to have a nice hike in the snow... Sadly the weather is not good enough to make nice pictures.
My camera seems to struggle in the snow and prefers to focus on snowflakes rather than Ninja.
The solution I have found is to use the smallest focus point and put that on the eye of the dog.
The chances to get a proper focus are a lot higher.
Ninja seems to prefer to snuggle in the evenings at the moment, which I like a lot 😊😊
Yesterday he fell asleep in my arms, which he usually does not do. I loved every moment of it 😊
Also Hadez seems to enjoy cuddles more and more and it is weird to see Ninja showing teeth to Hadez, claiming me for him.
Maybe there are eventually things I can do well 🤪
So weird, as I started typing it was snowing hard, now the sun seems to come out... Maybe it will get nice after all.
Happy Birthday Frank 🎂🎁🙌
I am quite certain Frank would appreciate your birthday wishes. So it would be very kind to head over to @kaihu_und_hadez and send him a message 📝
Wonder if anyone dares to sing him a happy birthday tune 😁😁
This is what happens to unsuspecting victims. Ninja sat next to Frank and waited for his chance.
Ninja has a large tongue and is very quick with it. I could fill a whole album with people underestimating Ninja's urge to cover face and mouth (if you do not close it) with love 🐺👅🤗
One of his nicknames is "Chief Quicktongue"
Ninja does not give up easily as you can see on the third picture... if he can't reach your face he'll kiss your throat.
I knew what Ninja was up to and innocently waited for the chance to get these pictures 😁
We will be busy all day so expect more from us tomorrow 😊

I took that cool shot from a underground at the U Elbbrücken and gave it with my edit a nice vibe. 🤯
