This weekend was the best. Monterey is easily one of my favorite places🖤 Sad it’s over, but I’m ready for a new week! Hope everyone has a good one 🙌🏼

When you’re going through an obsessive reflection phase, Nor’easters become your new best friend. Nothing better than massive puddles next to live oak trees, dripping with Spanish moss, lining long dirt roads!
Only 3 spots left in our Oregon Coast workshop with @krl_photo and I. We are hoping to have the remaining spots filled by the end of the month, so be sure to click the link in my bio if you’re interested and DM us with any questions!

The Mangum Storm.
After a 600 mile chase day we ended up in Western Oklahoma chasing a pair of low precipitation (LP) supercells with stunning Structure and Mammatus clouds,
We ended the chase down by Mangum with a brilliant orange sky caused by the sunset and the dust kicked up by the storms, made even more impressive with double lightning bolts! .

A question we’ve been getting a lot lately is “Who marries them?” 🧐
For couples choosing to elope or have a small wedding ceremony, this could look like a lot of different things. How you decide to get married is completely up to YOU— the marriage license paperwork that comes along with it, is truly just that— paperwork.
Some of our couples have one of us sign as their officiant (all three of us are ordained❗️), some ask two hikers to sign as witnesses if they need, or have two friends come along. Some couples choose to have a friend become an officiant so that someone close to them can speak on their wedding day and be a part of marrying them. Our Colorado couples often choose to self solemnize their weddings, some even have their dog sign as their witness. 🐶😭💗
Our couples that decide to get married in another country like Erica & Ted did in the photo above⬆️— typically choose to complete the legal paperwork at home before or after their elopement day. By doing this, their day is not affected by paperwork, where an officiant won’t go, or where they can find a witness.
So go— say your vows to ONLY one another on the edge of a lake in Patagonia. ✨You get married on the day you say your vows and commit your life to your partner.✨Don’t let the paperwork keep you from having your dream elopement.
