She's been much better since we have been serving her supper before 5, but anyone relate?
If you watch my stories you probably know, I did not want this puppy. I did not. When my husband said English Springers were available near us I literally cried. I was in a really dark place and could not imagine having another someone to care for, especially a someone that was a puppy. All of that ^^ drama was thanks to birth control making me insane. I got off of it and within a week randomly told my husband, let’s meet their parents. Of course the second I met them and then saw all 13 of these fluff balls rolling around, I wanted one. I randomly realized yesterday that everything I worried about and cried about (hormones are CRAZY, guys) was for nothing. We’ve had her for a month now and not once have I regretted getting her and not once have I felt overwhelmed with her. She’s turned out to be the best puppy and the best medicine for my depression. She makes me get outside, gives me kisses all day everyday, and goes with me everywhere. I’m smitten. || Today she went out with the hawk for the first time. It was nothing serious but nonetheless, they have to get used to each other. The snow was too deep and the brush too thick for her to get through, but she still found a few bunny trails to sniff. We left Tyler and Chani to climb a bit up the mountain and she patiently waited for my lazy butt to follow behind. 😂 Fleece Coat: @akbarkgifts

It’s been a great weekend. We had some time in the desert doing what I love best, driving down new and unknown roads just to see where they go and what’s there. We got to hang out with great friends and enjoy time with some family. .
There’s a storm headed our way, so we came home a day early. Nya is looking pretty exhausted and limping just a bit (I think she strained a previous injury somehow), so we will be taking a rest day tomorrow cozying up on the couch, and waiting for the snow.
Hi, it’s been a hot minute BUT today we done our first WPD leg of 10.1 miles. It was physically & mentally exhausting. I even cried a few times thinking I wasn’t going to make it & here’s why. If you’re not familiar Port Aux Basques, Newfoundland in Canada gets some of the worst weather in the country. I mean, after all not all places in Canada are 220+km/h winds right? Well today it called for 160km/h or almost 100mp/h, white out conditions & etc. As a matter of fact our forecast called for a “wreck house” wind warning, a snowfall warning, a rainfall warning & storm surge warning. So back to the wind.. the wind was creating these big snow drifts in the trails, some being about 12 feet high in places. My legs gave out multiple times on the way back due to being challenged with these banks one too many times. Then on top of that me being blind as a bat I wear glasses, my classes literally got froze over with ice & had icicles coming from them, so I had to take them off & finish the trail blind for many miles. My hair & eyelashes were chunks of ice & my face had never been so red. BUTT we pulled through & got it done! Here’s a pic of Flame carrying his weight requirements :) only a few more legs to go & hopefully we won’t get it as rough the next time around!
