  • More studies from some days ago. Wolves are so fluffy, I love to draw them ^^. Also, I am finally starting to understand their head better (I discovered what was making my old wolf drawings look a little weird. Basically, some of the proportions were wrong)

Basicamente o q eu estava errando bastante antes eram as proporções, principalmente o tamanho do focinho e a distância entre olhos e orelhas.

  • Some sketches of bears. I made this sketches to get more used to their anatomy. They are little different from the animals that I usually draw because they are plantigrades, which means that they walk on their entire foot sole, just like humans. Cats, dogs and birds (animals that I draw the most) are Digigrates, they walk on their digits, or toes. Drawing plantigrade animals usually feels weird for me, so I want to start with very simple sketches just to capture their movement :)

  • The Golden Retriever is a large-sized breed of dog bred as gun dogs to retrieve shot waterfowl, such as ducks and upland gamebirds, during hunting and shooting parties,[3]and were named 'retriever' because of their ability to retrieve shot game undamaged (soft mouth). Golden retrievers have an instinctive love of water, and are easy to train to basic or advanced obedience standards. They are a long-coated breed, with a dense inner coat that provides them with adequate warmth in the outdoors, and an outer coat that lies flat against their bodies and repels water. Golden retrievers are well suited to residency in suburban or country environments.[4] They shed copiously, particularly at the change of seasons, and require fairly regular grooming. The Golden Retriever was originally bred in Scotland in the mid-19th century.[3][5]
