  • We are currently caring for more than 100 rescued orangutans at our centre in Borneo, each with their own individual needs and personalities.

The orangutans in our care attend different ‘schools’ throughout our centre, each one specialising in caring for orangutans of a certain age and skill level.

The youngest and smallest of the rescued orangutans normally start out in ‘pre-school’, where they learn basic skills such as climbing.

As they grow and become more skilled, they will move through baby school and then on to forest school. The most independent orangutans, showing skills such as foraging and nest building, will graduate on to the data collection and pre-release islands.

Our aim is to return as many orangutans as we can to their rightful home in the wild.

This #feelgoodfriday we would like to give you a small, behind the scenes look at the day to day life at our centre.

We are only able to deliver this level of expert care because of the generosity of our amazing donors.

Without YOU, many of the orangutans you see in this video would not be here today.

You make the entire journey from rescue to release possible, and we are forever thankful for your support.

  • ⭐️ “𝐈'𝐯𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮, 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐠𝐨” ⭐️ Congratulations to Mark for winning the caption competition which we ran on Facebook!

We love this caption because being an infant orangutan in our baby school is all about learning, exploring and trying new things, which is exactly what these two are doing!

Mark has won one of our amazing new 2019 calendars, which features the best pictures of our rescued animals from all around the world.

Thank you to everyone that entered the competition. We will run another competition in the future, so if you missed out this time, there's always another chance!

  • Best hour of my life ❤️
Mountain gorillas in Uganda!
An old photo, from 2005, made with our analoge SLR camera.
.

  • A few months back at #hotrodrockandrumble I ran into a guy that owns a bike I built a few years ago. this little 103 anniversary soft tail was a quick build but I thought it was a great mix of simple and sweet. The really fun part was seeing pics of his son riding it. we build to RIDE - DRIVE - ENJOY sufficient to say I was stoked!

  • Gagal Perkosa Istri Tetangga, Kabur Tanpa Busana.
.
MASUK LEWAT PLAFON, LUTUT TERTUSUK KAYU
.
Nasib apes menimpa Sakti Rianus (28) warga Desa Loa Ulung RT 04, Kecamatan Tenggarong Seberang, Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara (Kukar).
.
Tapi nasib sial kembali menimpa Sakti.

  • Lucy (Australopithecus Afarensis) Deceit

The #lucy #fossil was introduced as an intermediate form after being found in 1974 and was introduced as the #ancestors of man. However, the two #anatomist Solly Zuckerman and Charles Oxnard, who examined the fossil, rejected this claim and summarized that the organism's walking and #anatomy is not exactly human, and that this is an ape species.

1. There are large anatomical differences between human and #monkey feet. Monkeys' toes are longer and the arch of the #human foot is not on the feet of monkeys.

2. People's upper body stands upright and people walk upright on two legs. This is a special form of movement. Monkeys walk up their upper body forward and use their arms to provide extra support. This is an #irreplaceable anatomical gap between humans and apes, and completely invalidates the myth of human evolution.

3. As can be seen in these pictures, the monkey has no long and moving thumbs, a very important feature of the human hand. Even only these differences are sufficient to #show the impossibility of the story of #people and #apes who #evolved from a common ancestor.

4. Lucy represents a species belonging to the genus #Australopithecus, which is not related to human #evolution. This species (Lucy) has a brain of the same size as the chimpanzees, its ribs and jawbone are in the same shape as present-day chimpanzees, their arms and legs showing that the creature walks like a #chimpanzee. In fact, the pelvis is like the chimpanzees.

In the May #1999 issue of the well-known French #science #journal Science et Vie, Lucy was made a cover. Adieu (Goodbye Lucy) in the article using the article, the #species of Australopithecus monkeys should be removed from the family tree wrote.
