  • Happy Saturday everyone! I hope everyone is having a great & a blessed day! I am here to talk a little bit about gratitude! A week ago today I was at my favorite happy place, and before I flew out to Houston I felt as if the universe was against me even leaving. My life is not perfect & I’m here to be real with y’all, I was going through family issues, financial struggles, trades going wrong, car breaking down, mental instability & the list goes on! I wasn’t sure I could even be in the right mindset to even try to enjoy some quality time with friends & family. Before I let it all get to me, I took a huge deep breath and began to reflect. We often lose sight of EVERYTHING we are so grateful & blessed to have. From little to small, I am grateful that I’m....
* Healthy
* Content
* Able to fly & travel
* Have multiple sources of income * Positively impact others
* Help change lives
* Know a skill set that will pay me for the rest of my life
* Have a wonderful family * Able to study & work
* Have such supportive friends * Have a car I’m able to fix & get repaired
* Provide for my family
* & that I’m even ALIVE. 
Getting out of a funk of sadness or uncertainty in life never gets easier, if anything, it might just get harder but it molds us into who we are today. I need to give a huge thank you to the great support system of my friends this past weekend that helped me realize how good I have it & I am beyond grateful to have found them as well as fitness as an outlet to help remain happy & healthy. Everything, AND I MEAN EVERYTHING - happens for a reason, you DON’T meet people on accident & everyone you meet has a purpose in your life. My heart is SO full of LOVE & GRATITUDE, Thank you to those who made my weekend unforgettable & I’m forever grateful to have y’all in my life. ❣️

  • Whether your fitness goals are to build muscle, lose weight, lift heavier, there’s no use in wasting time training the wrong way. Do your research, get a trainer if you need to, optimize your time and achieve your results. It’s like allotting an hour a day for the gym and spending the entire hour walking in a 3 speed. Would this get you the same results as running, HIIT, and weight training in one hour? Obviously not! Train smart 👊

  • Mixtape pose on the dirty mirror because I realized today is the 5 year anniversary since I started hitting the gym & eating well 🙌🏼 Lemme keep this short & just say that any day can be your “January 1st” to turn things around and make that first step in a more positive direction 💯 Last 5 years has been far from perfect (both in & out of the gym) but it has changed for the better every single year. Couldn’t have imagined if this whole thing never started 5 years ago today 😊 (feel free to dig for my before pic it aint pretty 😂 but ya gotta start somewhere 🤷🏻‍♂️) Peace for now ✌🏼
