Yeah. They don't call it Kangaroo Island for nothing... Almost three years ago I rolled up at Stokes Bay to find a few locals on hand to tell us all about the epic beach below. I'm not sure what was more gob-smacking... The ridiculously perfect white sand and blue water over the rise, or the sheer volume of our welcoming committee. Man... what a location! 🏖🙌

Weekend wandering with you 💕
This was our very first visit to Kangaroo Island, and there’s really no better way to describe it than.. peacefully slow 🙏🏽 It was a much-needed opportunity to slow down, and reconnect. With the wind in our hair; the ocean views; and with each other.
What's that skip? There's a crayfish waiting for me at home?
We'd better get going then!

So many of you wonderful people often write to us, asking who takes our photos of us two together!
Nope we don’t have a legend photographer following our every move; but we do have a best friend called our trusty tripod!
Shots take that little longer to setup; sometimes we miss the sunset; sometimes there’s a few takes before we nail the angles & camera adjustments; but one thing is for sure - it’s always a good ol’ laugh!
We were being gooses and doing our thing on this particular night, when meanwhile there was a group of larrikins walking by and watching and staring like we were the craziest two humans on earth.. and maybe we are!
Cape Barren Geese were nearly extinct by the 1950's. We have an abundant population with over 500 pairs nesting in a concentrated area at HBWS in some years. They are monogamous with life-long pair bonds. Nests are on the ground often in a tussock of grass. The Male plays an active role in nesting duties. #authenticki#southaustralia#seeaustralia
