Blue Monday 💠 #Porto
Do you remember when I first posted this photo? It was back in the day when this chapel wasn’t insta-famous yet! It’s still one of my favorites ever 💙
If you have a favorite photo, where was it taken?

Walking into Candyland 🍭 #Porto
Just arrived home, back from my first trip of the year to Porto and Douro Valley - Portugal never ceases to amaze me! It had a bit of everything: pink sunsets, pretty views, colorful streets, amazing food and wine and lots of nature! ~
Have you visited Portugal yet?

My favorite outdoor activity in winter is going back inside. 🙄❄❄
Getting back into the daily grind in Koh Phangan like. And that involves eating Durian for breakfast, soaking in the ocean, meeting soul-friends and chilling in Eat Co. Luckily, this time I have my mother with me. Not just for a short holiday, but more like a vacation from her repressed self-reality. It’s one thing to escape from something and it’s another thing when something is keeping you emotionally and spiritually trapped. And that doesn’t necessarily mean running away from the situation - in fact it means quite the fucking opposite. It means confronting what the fuck is going on inside yourself and why you are feeling this way? Why are you depressed? Why do you keep failing in things that you want to do? Why does it seem like shit just falls apart? And then going BACK to that same household where your husband lives and seeing it in a different life. Going back with a different sense of self and knowing that you’re worthy of your own love and attention even if other people have their own problems and can’t do that for you. The thing is we are all so scared to face those extremely basic situations - like family, like difficult discussions on marriage, like asserting our independence, that we end up fucking ourselves in the foot. Personally I have seen the extremely dark side of this in my life, including abuse. Complete non-acceptance for my lifestyle and my being. Now it’s not the case - And I’m changing this for my mum as well. Funny thing is, the people are exactly the same. My father is my father that was there when I was 16. My mother is my mother. But how I approach situations has changed drastically and this is the only reason I believe you DO have the power to change the family situation no matter how bad it is. Not through blind aggression. Not through avoidance. Through connection with something higher. Through light and healing; sometimes with a verbal spear to the heart because sometimes the truth is difficult. But what the fuck is the point of life if we are always running away from what we have been specifically placed here to deal with? Bring it on 2019 I’m going to whack every tennis ball flat out of the fucking court 👊🏼
If you are around Sydney, you should really go to Morisset Park!
It’s a beautiful area 2 hours North of Sydney and there many wild but gentle kangaroos! -
*Do not feed them with carrots or other type of food because they are wild animals!
Be also aware of your and their behaviour!* 🇮🇹
Days with this human are my favourite and I’m lucky that in the last four months we’ve woke up together, had dinner together and said good night to each other every single day. With our work schedules before we left home everyday things like this were often a struggle and we would often have to snatch moments together between shifts. I am forever grateful that we took this risk and decided to push forward with a dream ✨Here’s to always appreciating the journey!
When you only pay for one airfare and hide the other person in your luggage 😝
. @highsierra_ausnz is our go to wherever we’re going because of it’s versatility! Especially when they’re so spacious you can fit inside them 🙈
Thanks so much for your 2019 trip suggestions yesterday. Sydney’s sun is shining and we are looking forward to some beach staycations ☼
What’s your next trip? ✈
