New project launching today called “BASICLY STORIES” 💥
If you want to participate to this super super nice thing, you just need to tag #basiclystories in your caption. Every month we will choose one photo to post on our website and our lovely and talented contributor Giulia @giuligiri will write a story inspired by your picture. ♥️
The first picture we have chosen is by @quarantadue_ and the first story is “Orange Curtains”, read more here below and on basiclymag.com —
I tried to convince the entire building: four floors, three flats each. I knocked on every door, laden like a donkey, asking to hang my orange curtains. Just for tomorrow morning, I assured all of them one by one, then I’ll come pick them up and you won’t see me again. The younger tenants took my money without question. It was more difficult to convince the elderly: they feared I was either crazy or a burglar. Only the man living on the top floor didn’t open the door. He listened to my offer through the peephole and shouted at me to leave, otherwise he would have called the police. Well, eleven flats out of twelve: I did a good job.
This morning I woke up at dawn. You were still asleep and you didn’t hear me leaving. I went down the street to look at the orange building. Shame about the bare top floor and about some cracks here and there. Whatever, and whatever for the dirty railings popping out of the curtains. The color of the sunset was there, right in front of my eyes.
I came back home and laid down next to you. Finally you woke up. I looked at you opening the shutters. I was waiting for your smile. For a shout of joy. I was waiting for you in bed. But you went to the kitchen to make some coffee, without saying a word.
Perhaps you’ve forgot our orange dreams. Or perhaps all of this has never been enough for you.

"Green, sustainable, conscious, ethic, organic, fur free. Il dibattito attorno al sistema moda, si è arricchito negli ultimi anni di un gran numero di termini legati a una produzione cosiddetta “sostenibile”, che dovrebbe garantire un approccio meno lesivo dell’ambiente e delle risorse naturali a disposizione e la diminuzione delle emissioni di gas serra..."
