Saturday Workout: Athlete @benoudrih19 #holnessperformance
Today’s strength portion of the workout focused a lot on using the @kirocore for core activation and strengthening. ————————————————————————
▪️Utilizing the @kirocore in different variations with the same exercise, challenges the core tremendously. As you can see with the Hexbar Deadlift exercise, I placed resistance on just one side of the @kirocore to work on core activation/hip stabilization/abdominal muscles that flex and rotate.... then switched the resistance to the front of the @kirocore to work on the back extensors muscles.
▪️To train the Lateral Trunk Flexors, I placed resistance to both the Elevated Split Squat and Kneeling Single Arm Landmine Press. By placing resistance to these two exercises, it engages the lateral trunk flexors and challenges the core stabilizers.
