📸 Traveltip: if you ever plan to go to NZ, make sure you don’t miss ‘The Bay of Islands’. Green hills meet white sandy beaches. Don’t forget to bring a couple of beers and your sunnys to enjoy the sunset! 😎🍻Isn’t beautiful?
For the ones who have been to NZ... What’s your favorite beach spot in NZ? Please share your tips with us! ❤️
As we arrived yesterday at Oke Bay, lots of children came up the stairs and told us that they have swum with dolphins about one hour. 🐬🌴 Unfortunately we have missed them, nevertheless it was a beautiful relaxing day at this beach. 🏖 😍
Bay of Islands, Great Ocean Road. It was hot out there today. Flocks of birds were rising out of the bushes and immediately losing themselves in heat shimmer. The water was clear and quiet. The coast west of Port Campbell has a different feel to the more iconic area around the 12 Apostles. It feels more delicate and fragile. #bayofislands#greatoceanroad@visitgreatoceanroad#traveltrueplaces#visitvictoria

In the last 200 years, the story of te Reo has been one of ups and downs. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
At the beginning of the 19th century it was the predominant language spoken in Aotearoa/New Zealand but by the mid-20th century there were concerns that it was dying out. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Major initiatives launched from the 1980s have brought about a revival of te reo. There is a resurgence of te reo, but to remain viable as a language, Māori needs a critical mass of fluent speakers of all ages, and it needs the respect and support of the wider English-speaking and multi-ethnic New Zealand.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Remember our history and the importance of the Maori culture in the birthplace of our nation, the Bay of Islands. Every Kiwi person should visit in their lifetime.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Comment below if you speak Te Reo or think it is important for our culture as a whole. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We got to head out with #fullersgreatsights today on The Cream Trip! All I have to say is WOW!!! Such a great experience in many ways! Included is a detailed trip of the Bay of Islands with some interesting commentary throughout, experience the hole in the rock, an island stopper for lunch, if the opportunity arises, a swim with dolphins, a play in the boom net whilst the captain has fun watching humans pretend to be fish in a cast net (actually good fun), and sooooo many beautiful locations and sights to discover... Highly recommended, especially for those who want to see the majority of the area in a day, and very good value for money.
Now time for rest 👌🏼
