  • Life got you feeling UPSIDE DOWN?
Talk about it!
First, I want to say thank you to all support & kind words from y’all on my last post where I sorta went full emotional.
I’m so grateful to have the space to express myself in all ways and aspects!
And secondly, if you ever feel or do feel like life is an absolute hot mess & you just don’t know what to do, my NUMBER ONE recommendation is TALK TO SOMEONE ABOUT IT!
Tbh I’m sorta bad at expressing my actual feelings to anyone outside my parents, but this weekend I had a few friends aka @notzoe @ktwise @caro.warrior & @vholtzz chat with me about life and pull some emotional feels out that I had been holding in & they truly helped! 
Life isn’t about trying to survive on your own.
It’s about going on a journey with your family surrounding you from near and far.
We all have high and low days.
It’s easy to turn in and avoid everyone.
But that’s the moment when we should reach out for help.
So if you’re looking for help know that you’re not alone and when you’re ready to seek it, there will be someone there. 
And if you don’t know who, shout-out at your girl 💁‍♀️
As someone with a hurricane of a brain (wow I haven’t used that reference on here in like a year), it’s easy to feel a ton of things at once and the best way for me to recover from being upside is to TALK IT OUT.
Figure out why you feel the way you feel.
Talking may not solve your situation, but it may help you figure out how to address it and make a change for the better.
BE STRONG LOVES!

  • This incredibly lady absolutely crushed her 20 mile workout this morning...and I got to bike next to her to talk her ear off as she did so 😂 I loved having the chance to bundle up and get in a bike ride today, especially since I'm definitely going stir crazy from 3 weeks of no running 🙄 In case you're wondering, snow mittens do wonders at keeping your hands warm on the ride! 😨👌 #longrundays #longbikedays #snowglovesftw #happytocatchup

  • Cross training activities allow you to give your joints and running muscles a break while still working on the cardio. And I've never thought I'd come this far. Last Monday was the first week on a stationary bike and it was the most boring 45 mins in a long time. Last night as advised by my husband @saphannam 🙄 I decided to pick one Podcast I thought I might like @the.healthcode to listen to today. I guess it must be the hosts as they were so cute talking to each other and interesting content combined because it took my mind out of it. I actually enjoy listening to their podcast (even if it was the first time). It was the hard 50 mins this morning but I am sooooo looking forward to @the.healthcode 's next episode and just as well as my next ride next Monday! 🚴🏻‍♀️💪🏻

  • What has been the healthiest habit you have started?
Every moment is the chance for a brand new beginning and I can truly say the challengers in our healthy habit breakfast group are dedicated to no excuses. 🙌
I know some of them were terrified to start. I know I was at the beginning. But at the end of this week, we had people sharing their results, ideas, things that worked and, most importantly, their pride in themselves shone. 🌟

  • Some easy recovery miles. I have been struggling with the fact that my paces are slower than they were a couple years ago. I kind of see last year as a hiatus since my training was super inconsistent, and I battled the nagging foot injury. But now that I’ve been back on a regular training schedule the past few months...well my expectation was that I’d just pick up where I left off. It’s been challenging mentally at times. The deal is that I’m still at a goal pace — it’s just not the pace I want to be at or the pace I was at two years ago. Gah. So I’m just trying to shift my attitude and accept where I am now, and working toward (hopefully) getting stronger. Patience and gratitude.🏃🏾‍♀️🌱#run #vegan #trackandfield #masterstrack  #beatyesterday #igrunners #runhappy

I do these Recovery runs all by feel, only checking my watch when it beeps every mile to make sure I’m not going to fast. Originally planned for 13 miles, settled on 11 instead, which is still better than 0. 57 days until the @bostonmarathon. #NoDaysOff
