  • Maybe you’re afraid to turn the page, open up the next chapter. Maybe you’ve already moved the bookmark, trying to skim the plot twists without learning the lesson that’s hidden in between. Regardless, today’s a new page in your book, a fresh start; it’s a good idea to ask the Author of the Moment to guide the steps of your script and give this chapter over to God. Pencil in your prayers and watch surrender take place. Rather than an anxious kind of page turner, let’s make 2019 a calming read, with a highlighter in hand to highlight the good, and remember that no matter what happens in between - there’s a guaranteed happy ending and it ends with Jesus. Affirm yourself in this: “I trust the next chapter of my book because I know the author “ ⭐️💝 Happy Monday, friends | Q: Are you ready to turn the page today with highlighter in hand? Give me a 🖐!

In one second life can be catastrophically changed... and it take a year to just begin healing! I have seen miracles happen day to day in the past year and I am Thankful and blessed beyond belief! BUT I AM just starting to heal. I had put my husband and children and their healing before my own and was so focused on making sure they got what they needed, that I neglected my own needs! Mental health, physical pain and emotional anguish! The pain is real and on a level of WTF! The mental health is a work in progress...and the emotional MADNESS is embraced with strong people around me to help me cope and understand that I am in a safe place and will Continue to better myself for my family and friends! 💔 #Time #LovingMyLifeAgain #NeverGiveUp #beautyfromashes #onedayatatime

  • Little by little —
He sheds His light upon my life.
•
Yesterday,
with my fainted heart and faith,
I prayed a simple prayer.
It was as if God was telling me to just
take a step back and sit still.
He needs both time and space in order to work in us,
for us
& through us.
We often say that we will wait upon the Lord for His promises to be revealed in our lives,
but we do not give Him space to work things out for our good.
We wait,
but we do not surrender.
He needs us to surrender everything to Him and trust Him with full faith.
•
Dear friends,
let us learn to surrender our plans, desires and dreams to the One that knows what is best for us.
Do not worry.
I know it’s cliché to say that,
but I really do mean it.
At least try not to worry,
but resort in His presence instead.
He knows eaxctly when to fulfill His promises,
where to do it
and how to reveal them to you.
He did it for me yesterday,
I am sure He can do it for you too.
Do not let your fainted hearts and faith hinder you from reaching out to Him.
Go on,
pray,
pour you hearts out to the One that loves it most.
He created us,
He knows how to love us best.
•
Blessings!✨

  • Last night at church, Pastor Steven Furtick ended the sermon by singing the hymn “Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus.” 👀

That song is very special to me. I still remember singing this song in one of my dance recitals after a group of dancers (my sister was one of them) danced to “Amazing Grace.” The dance teacher Kristy Jenkins, had a vision. And she choreographed it so perfectly. After “Amazing Grace” stopped, I started singing “Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus” acapella while they did another dance.
It’s funny how one little part of your life can have a pivotal impact on how you think about life, God, your present circumstances, etc. Some things even though they were small, made a big impact and you will remember that small thing the rest of your life.
And sometimes the things that are small things in the moment, can become big things over time or later on. They can become the pivotal moments in our life. They can be our defining moments even when we don’t know it yet. Even when it seems small.
The whole sermon was about Sampson, and how his mom couldn’t have a baby, and an angel of the Lord came and told her and her husband they were to have a son. Well they had him, and he was very blessed by God. He had it all. Then he fell for a woman that ultimately betrayed him, and he ended up blind and he had no strength left in him. But God. God still used him! Even though he made a dumb mistake that dumb mistake was still orchestrated by God! It was still part of God’s plan. God used his mistake, and defeated the philistines. He was still able to use him, and turn the situation over to good.
I immediately thought of myself years ago. I made some bad decisions just like Sampson did. I ended up pregnant and out of wedlock. Did I see that in my future? Heck no! That wasn’t a part of the plan! I didn’t think that “one” decision would lead to something so big, so pivotal in my life. But Gods grace is amazing!
I can’t imagine my life without my sweet girl now. God turned it all around, and made a bad decision a blessing. I wouldn’t be where I am today, with the people I know and love, if it weren’t for Reagan I truly believe. She set me on a different course for my life. It

  • How to revive brown roses:
1. Peel off outer petals
2. Use scissors to snip brown tips off the top
3. Add a pop of color to draw the eye away from older flowers

  • Today, I saw a tall man run past my house, and for a moment, he looked just like my brother. And as he got closer, I found myself looking away—because I couldn’t again find out that it still wasn’t him.

But I don’t think I’m the only one person who feels this way, wanting to shield yourself from the pain of this life while still holding onto the hope that there is still something more.

And I found that many books on pain and grief assume you’re a “before” that will close the book as an “after,” but the tension we carry in our lives doesn’t work that way.

The Book of Comforts doesn’t promise to fix your problems with cliches, rather, it offers a hand, a community of friends doing the same as you: Looking for genuine comfort. Let’s seek it together. 💕

  • #StoryTime Today is 6 months since ‘the incident’. 6 months since I got punched in the face by the man I loved. The father of my daughter. 6 months since I packed his shit and moved it out. 6 months since I decided I deserved better. A lot can change in 6 months! 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
I went back to college, found an amazing job with a great company, with great co-workers. Got a new car. Started working out, eating right and taking care of myself again. Fell in luvst with someone, hurt my heart and ended it. 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
I’ve let men treat me how they wanted to all my life instead of me telling them how I deserve to be treated. Not anymore. I deserve to be respected, trusted, honored, and loved. I deserve a fucking text once in a while. 🤷🏻‍♀️
I don’t deserve to be punished for others’ mistakes. I don’t deserve to be hit. I don’t deserve to be cheated on.
I deserve to be happy. And the only one who can do that, is me. Maybe one day God will bring a good man into my life. Maybe He won’t. But for now I’m just grateful the wrong ones are out of it!

  • 👉🏼Free Group Alert👈🏼 Is your weight loss journey like a rollercoaster? 🎢

Are you eating healthy one minute only to find yourself binge eating the next? Are you waking up with good intentions to make better choices but then find yourself ending your night with ice-cream?
If you are saying YES then it's time to hop off and join us for our 3/in/1 💰FREE💰 30 day challenge. 👉🏼Yes! I said FREE

Getting fit is more than just your physical appearance. It begins inward with your SPIRIT and SOUL. If your spirit and your soul is not healthy then you will struggle with your physical health.
You must address all 3 areas -SPIRIT, SOUL, and BODY when you are wanting to get healthy.
Here's what to expect: Starts March 1st
❇️Week 1- Lessons geared for Spiritual health by Sarah Morgan @thehillofzion ❇️Week 2- Lessons geared for the Soul (emotions) by Sarah. ❇️Week 3- Lessons on nutrition and exercise by me 🙋🏻‍♀️.
❇️Week 4- Start implementing the 3/in/1 lifestyle that will take you to your Faith Ignited Transformation.

Here is my sister, @thehillofzion testimony. "Going into this year I made a declaration that I was going to be healthy spiritually, emotionally, and physically.

I’m making a point each day to feed myself spiritually, make better choices with my food (it truly is a mindset), and now including exercise.

This has not been an overnight transformation...it started 5 years ago with me needing to first heal spiritually...that led to a long road of emotional healing...and now I’m here working on my health and fitness.

Not for anyone else but ME!

However, until I got spiritually and emotionally fit, I could not work on the physical being on me!

God created us mind, body, spirit.

Spirit man being most important, then our mind set, than our body." 🙌🏻All you gotta do is drop your fav emoji, or DM me and I will send you an invite to the group!

See that you go on growing in the Lord, and become strong and vigorous in the truth you were taught.
Let your lives overflow with joy and thanksgiving for all he has done. { Colossians 2:7 }
