If I were to ask you “What’s your mindset?” 🧠 What would you say? Do you ever stop and think about what your mindset is 🤔 and how it may be affecting what you are doing?⠀

I know, you’re like, “Whaaat???” 🤷🏻♀️⠀

Just try this with me. It will only take a couple of ⌚️minutes. ⠀

Okay, so what’s your mindset?⠀
⠀
Another way to think about mindset could be Attitudes with a capital A - so like your overall view of things. ☂️⠀

Do you feel capable and strong? 💪🏻⠀
Do you feel overwhelmed and defeated? 😔⠀
⠀
Those two general mindsets will have very different affects on everything you do!⠀
⠀
Let’s say you want to tackle cleaning 🧹 🧼 out a room of your house 😝). The first mindset (capable and strong) will help you to push through the task. It will help you to keep going even when you really want to pack it in for the day.⠀

The second mindset (overwhelmed and defeated) will probably prevent you from even beginning 🙅🏻♀️ and then when you don’t do the task you feel even more overwhelmed and more defeated. 😩⠀

I think I first became aware of the difference my mindset made when I started 🏃🏻♀️running. Since then, I have really been fascinated by 📚books, 📱podcasts, etc., that deal with mindset.⠀

Mine is NOT always strong, believe me. There are times of self-doubt and fear.⠀
⠀
Here’s the difference today: 🌞⠀

I AM AWARE. I know when my mindset is getting in the way of me doing what I want/need to do or me BEING who I want to be!! And when that negative thinking starts to creep in, I ACT.⠀

How have I gotten this awareness? Honestly, my coaching has been a huge part! THAT ( other coaches, the women I work with) is my circle 🔵 of support. I used to terribly underestimate the importance of this. Today, I KNOW that I don’t have to do ANY of it alone!! Today I don’t want to do ANY of it alone.⠀

Practice what you preach! @gcunninghamgolf and I are working on "feel vs real" the feel is pretty crazy in the first few practice swings feel pretty crazy but the results are a lot better! Still a work in progress.

Recipe:
1/4 cup Vegetable Glycerin
1/2 cup Castile Soap
1/2 cup of Water
5-10 drops of Gentle Baby Essential Oil *optional 1 Tablespoon of Fractionated Coconut Oil
Add to a glass jar that can hold 1.5 cups of liquid.
Shake.
Add 1/4 cup to a bath.
Enjoy!

I get pretty vulnerable with my fitness group of ladies. And I go LIVE daily. Yesterday, I was a wreck. I couldn't pull myself together for my LIVE, so I just decided to be raw. You see, I am living in and working through some serious ugliness in my life. It is heart wrenching. Yet I still workout daily. I use it as therapy. As I spoke, I cried, I revealed my hurt, my pain, and my anger. And that I hoped, that perhaps, my vulnerability and determination not to hide or quit, might inspire them and give them strength to get through whatever they may have going in their lives---Cuz let's face it--we all have crap.

Well, my brokenness and honesty not only drew amazing encouragement and words of love from my ladies, but it also allowed some of them the freedom (and strength) to speak out about their own issues.
Y'all, it was the most beautiful place to be on Facebook yesterday. I love my tribe so very much. .

Today’s healthy/tasty lunch in the park! (Followed by not so healthy but equally delicious Indian dinner 😋)
I started the path towards a better me 10 days ago, but this is the first day I’m going public with the results 🤫 My healthy choices for today were: 1. Guided meditation 2. Studying maths (three 🍅) 3. A ballet inspired class followed by stretching and sauna 4. Managing to take all of my meds on time (don’t laugh, it is a challenge) 5. This poke, obviously 6. Walking around with friends 7 listening to an inspiring audiobook Things I need to improve on: 1. Ate fried food at dinner and mindlessly/randomly snacked in anything I could see after waking up (ops) 2. More sleep (5 hours is below ideal for me) 3. Aim for 4 🍅 tomorrow 4.
