Some people store theirs on their legs, others on their arms, but for me it was always my stomach. The fear of putting on weight stopped me from doing things I enjoy - going out for meals with friends and indulging in foods I enjoyed. I’d feel immense guilt for skipping the gym and would prioritize gyming over having fun. Yes, exercise and eating healthy still play a massive role in my life, but I do this in a way that is way more balanced and makes me so much happier 😍♥️ Moral of the story: having abs doesn’t guarantee you’re going to feel great about yourself 😇 Prioritizing the things you love will 🌟

  • As part of my self-love I choose to wear things that feel good on my body and have me feeling my best. I no longer hold space for the things I that don’t serve my higher self or lead me to feeling confident, comfortable, sexy, empowered or motivated.

For me this manifests in a wardrobe of natural fibres ethically sourced and fairly made and created with love and sensitivity to their impact on our home. It also looks like pieces that “spark joy” (thank you, Marie Kondo) and bring an inner smile when I hold and wear them.

  • Building and maintaining muscle mass is important. I don't mean for aesthetics, I mean for health. The reason why a fit and strong body is attractive in the first place is because its an indicator of good health that we look for in partners.
Having a good amount of muscle helps ensure good insulin sensitivity and a higher metabolism, meaning you can get in more food and therefore more vital nutrients your body needs to thrive. With the increase in sedentary lifestyles and the fact our muscle mass declines with age, its important to encorporate sufficiently stimulating strength exercises in to your week to counteract the loss of phycial activity we now experience as a society. Im not necessarily talking about weight lifting or achieving freaky levels of leaness, I'm just talking about adding in some strength focused activities to ensure you can achieve and maintain a healthy and natural amount of muscle to reep all of the benefits and maintain good health in to old age.

  • Un atracón, es un episodio en el que en un periodo corto de tiempo, se ingieren grandes cantidades de comida (por lo general altas en calorías) y se caracteriza por ir acompañado de sentimientos de compulsión y falta de control. Recurrimos a la comida intentando llenar vacíos emocionales, buscando confort y anestesia.
Empiezas tu día pensando que "ahora sí" vas a "cumplir" tu dieta (generalmente llena de restricciones, pensando que cuando seas delgado serás feliz), durante el día nos sentimos insatisfechos, hasta que llega la noche, después de un día pesado y al llegar a casa "te mereces" una galleta. Como ya te comiste la galleta, y "arruinaste" tu dieta, sin darte cuenta, te terminas comiendo la caja de galletas, el puré de papa que ayer querías pero no te lo comiste, la pizza fría y mordida que alguien dejó en el refri y el pedazo de chocolate que tenías en el fondo de tu bolsa. Te sientes frustrado, desesperado, piensas que no tienes fuerza de voluntad, y por eso no eres exitoso, "así nadie te va a querer", lleno de culpa y frustraciones te prometes que mañana comerás solo verduras y agua. Y empieza el ciclo otra vez. ¿Te suena? 
Es posible transformar tu relación con la comida, mantener un peso saludable sin hacer dietas por medio de la alimentación consciente, y liberarte de estos patrones de conducta. .

  • Got in a gym session yesterday and it was amazing! Just a quick full body weight training workout to ease back into it. Finally feeling a little like the old me even though I look so far from it😂 My weight is back to normal but as you can see, I have lost all of my muscle. I have so much more fat(why my weight is the same minus the muscle) and attempting to hide my mommy pooch😅 In the last couple of weeks, I've been working on my pelvic floor and transverse abdominis (when I have a free moment which isn't often) to help heal the diastasis. Although it is feeling better, I still have a 3 finger width gap and still have to do the pregnancy roll out of bed, but nevertheless, progress is progress and I'm feeling a lot stronger💪

I’m a firm believer in developing an acceptance for who you truly are & finding a LOVE for yourself.. ⁣

BUT I also believe it’s almost become taboo to say you have goals for how you wish to LOOK. ⁣

Whether it’s throwing in a little Botox to eliminate some wrinkles, tossing on some fake lashes because they make you feel beautiful 👁, or getting a spray tan 👙, DO YOU & don’t give haters the attention they DON’T deserve. ⁣

As long as you’re making healthy choices, that’s all that really matters! ✨

  • IM SICK OF IT. All the crap that women are doing now. (I’m guilty of some of these) Fake eyelashes. Fake hair. Fake tans. Fake everything. Caked on makeup. Looks in the mirror, still hates what she sees. Low self-esteem. No self-worth. Forced to go out and put on a fake smile. Compares herself to everyone. Tells herself she’s fat. Overdoes it on her workouts. Undereats her calories. Negative self-talk. Tells herself she isn’t beautiful like the other girls. That she’s ugly. That she doesn’t deserve to look in the mirror and be happy. ENOUGH.

This message is to every single woman out there who has ever struggled with body image. I am here to tell you today that YOU ARE A GORGEOUS person from the inside out. No matter what size, what shape, what age, what color, what fitness level, what makeup skill level, ALL OF YOU!

No don’t roll your eyes and tell me I have it all or give me the “what does she know”. We have ALL struggled. Actually some of the thinnest, prettiest girls out there have the LOWEST confidence and self-esteem out of anyone. And do you know why?

Because we as women never feel that we are enough. We are so focused on how we compare to everyone else that we forget to just focus on ourselves. We forget how pretty our eyes are, or how our laugh overtakes a room and makes others laugh, or maybe you love your hair, your smile, your compassion for others, your ability to love your children unconditionally, your sense of humor... I challenge you today to think about 3 things that you have accomplished in your life as well as 3 things that you love about yourself. Maybe you even have the guts to share them below...do it!

And if you can’t think of 3 things, I encourage you to really look at yourself in the eyes when you look in the mirror and find those 3 things because they are in there somewhere.

Ladies, every day is a new day to wake up and look in the mirror and LOVE yourself for who you are. Be the most confident girl in that room because YOU CAN CHOOSE TO BE. No one can take that away from you. No one can steal that away unless you LET them. 
So today, choose to be STRONG. Choose to be CONFIDENT. And choose to work on becoming 1% better everyday.

  • Today is my last day here in Milan. Tomorrow I'm going back home to Copenhagen.
This trip has been filled with lots off yummy food, which is not always easy.
Some days i felt guilty about the amount of food i was consuming, some days I barely thought about it.
Either way I am proud of the fact that I didn't deprive myself of anything, no matter what the voice in my had wanted me to do.
It's not an easy journey but it's absolutely worth it to try and get better every single day.
You might fail one day but you just have to forgive yourself and do better next time.

Don't be hard on yourself. Just be kind babes 💕 .
