When I went through all my books (again) I filled this little box with all my ‘pretty’ books (e.g. coffee table, poetry, self-help and lifestyle books), so that I will look through them more often. Love this little treasure box SO much ♥️
Do you have a box, filled with a specific kind of books? 💭
“We fell in love through our words, didn't we? In the harshest and darkest of times, we found the brightest, most beautiful thing of all. We found love. We found each other, and for that I will forever be grateful." - Hazel Gaynor& Heather Webb, Last Christmas in Paris .
This book is written in epistolary format and is a love letter to letters. As a lover of words and strong believer in the power and hope that words can carry, I devoured the romance between Evie and Thomas, who fall in love over the course of WWI through the letters they write to one another. It was a slower paced book than I had anticipated but I think it all too appropriate that it was written in a slow and steady pace which perfectly reflected the time it took for Evie & Thomas to fall in love (or rather, realize they were in love)! I was smiling and giggling as well as feeling anxious and saddened alongside the characters the entire time I was reading. Evie is adorable, spunky, and brave. Thomas, with his kind and scholarly spirit, stole my heart from the very beginning. This is a sweet and engaging read that will make you fall in love with ALL the characters! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
I think it's so fascinating that this was a collaboration between two authors who didn't meet face-to-face until their book tour. I highly recommend reading the author's notes at the end of the book! Lots of incredible facts including that this book was mostly written in letters and emails between the authors! Now I must insist that my husband and I become pen pals 😅. And that we put away with texting and social media as a proper means of communication in exchange for heartfelt, intimate handwritten letters. Anyone else with me?! 😭🙋🏻♀️

📖 : A seleção
Autora : kiera Cass @partylikeaerdstar
Primeiramente: America Singer e Maxon Schreave
O livro é composto de amor, ação e aventura.
Sim você vai se apaixonar
E não não é o conto de fadas...
Já conhecia ? Se sim o que achou ? Se não, conheça você vai amar. . #libraria#livraria#library#estantedelivros#leiamais#lendo#livro#book#books#booklover#bookaholic#bookaddict#bookworm#bookporn#bookstagram#instabook#instalivros#libro#libros#amoler#livros#livroseleitura#read#lendo#ler#TAGlitetaria#bookIG#livros#literatura

Jak Wam minął weekend? Zderzyliście się dziś boleśnie z Blue Monday, czyli najbardziej depresyjnym dniu w roku? 😰
1. Meteorologiczne - krótki dzień, mało słonecznego światła
2. Ekonomiczne - konieczność spłacania kredytów zaciągniętych na świąteczne zakupy
3. Psychologiczne - ach, te niedotrzymane postanowienia noworoczne... 😜
Kokardy opadają 😆🎀 Oczywiście, to tylko pseudonauka, więc nie dajcie sobie wmówić, że dziś jest jakoś źle 😉 Uszy do góry!
“the desert seems vast, even endless. yet scientists tell us somewhere, even now, there is snow.” I love welcome to nightvale and when they came out with the episode scrips I was ecstatic. Owning them has made me happier than anything, being able to quickly find a favourite episode of quote. I wish more podcasts had something like this!
Who is your favorite King or Prince? 😍👑
Nikolai you said? well, me too 😍🤣 but i also adore Maresh brothers from ADSOM and The Kholins (Dalinar, Adolin and Renarin) from The Stormlight Archive series and Dorian from TOG.. think i have a lot of fav royals 😅😍
"King Of Scar" is coming out really soon and im so freaking excited 😍 i actually prefer Six Of Crows duology rather than Grishaverse trilogy, but i think Leigh Bardugo's writing style got better and better every book so im really looking forward for KOS 😍😍
I hope Monday treat you good 😘😭

My Favorite Half-nigh Stand by Christina Lauren 🤷♀️💬 🤷♂️💬 🙋🏼♂️💬💁🏻♂️💬🤦🏾♂️💬 It’s a very compelling story filled with snarky humor, friendship and love just like a chick-flick. I loved it!! It literally had me laughing-out-loud. It’s an easy read recommend for those looking for a good time, although there's a bit of drama and sad parts. All the characters are intelligent and witty, so likable.
Millie Morris is a 29-year-old UC Santa Barbara professor, she is one of the guys, so when she and her four best-guys friends need dates for a gala, they decide to open accounts on an online dating service. But things get complicated when she's paired up with one of her friends. . . .
Hello Monday, hello bookworms ❄️✨
After finishing The Girl in the Tower I started reading three different books, but didn't really "connect" with any of them right now. I am fighting a potential reading slump by just picking up a fourth title, which happened to be All My Puny Sorrows by Miriam Toews. I really want to read her novel Women Talking later this year, but right now this keeps calling out to me. Has anyone read it? Any thoughts?

21. Favourite King or Prince | He is hands down my favourite king. He’s super charming, and he considers himself a working man. “I’m what they call the King of Thieves, the Master of the Court of the Rogue.” (Alanna: The First Adventure, p. 50) 👑
So this is take two, somehow my first attempt was eaten before I could hit send. 🎬 I’m looking forward to seeing how people answer today’s prompt, and if anyone will pick a king or prince that’s not from a fantasy book. 🐉 🤴🤴🤴🤴🤴
Good morning, y’all! Hope everyone had a great weekend! I’m happy to report back that Love, Lies, and Spies was a delightful book to get lost in for a few days! I really enjoyed the setting, the characters, and the sweet romance. I thought I had figured out the path this story was going to take, but there were a couple of unexpected twists that added to my enjoyment. I don’t read much YA that is considered historical fiction so this was a fun departure from my usual genres! ☀️☀️☀️☀️/5
Did y’all read anything good over the weekend? I actually finished up a well liked book last night that I think I may have an unpopular opinion about, but I’m still trying to process it so we’ll see what my final thoughts end up being 😳 Have a great Monday!

Pretty things don’t distract me. In my line of work, a distraction will get you caught. Or in my case, blackmailed. But this isn’t the only time I’ve been hustled, and soon Connor Hayes will learn that men are only pawns in my end game. I don’t love. I hate. Even a pretty boy like him.
