Bathed in glitter today. I used #coverfxglitterdrops under my foundation; this video is to show how it looks on my skin in two different light settings. No filters or edits. |
I used to fear using glitter drops or oils on my face before makeup application because A) I battled severe acne before and my skin can still be very sensitive at times and B) I have enlarged pores and every time I tried using glitter drops or shimmery primers, they would accentuate this "issue". Lately, I've been using pore-filling or blemish-covering primers first then a drop or two of glitter drops right on my cheekbones rubbing it in lightly and upwards away from my under eyes. I then use a damp blending egg sponge and pat my foundation over it. It helps to smooth and mattify my skin a bit. I've tried applying and blending the drops and foundation at the same time but the aforementioned method works better for me because of my enlarged pores and it seems to help make my skin appear smooth. |
