WEEKDAY PANCAKE BLISS 💛❤️💚

As a huge Hostess™ fan I was so excited to find the NEW Hostess™ Donettes™ Cereal by Post and the NEW Hostess™ Honey Bun Cereal by Post at @Walmart! I loved both as a kid and now it’s so fun seeing them in a tiny size as cereal! They are so yummy and tastes exactly like them but in cereal form! i bought a box of 6 frozen multigrain waffles thinking they’d last me the whole week...until this morning when my bf and i ate all of them 🙊 whoops! i made a waffle sammie with peanut butter, sliced bananas, and raspberries and it was SO good and so easy. in case you’re like me and wake up at the last possible minute to not be late for work 😉 but still spend time taking a pic of breakfast bc priorities 😉😉😉 happy 🐫🐫🐫 everyone!

Does anyone else’s eyes convert food into portion controlled, color coded containers?! I see 2 ❤️, 1 💚, and 1 tsp.
I’m referring to the color-coded containers that @autumncalabrese created.
When I first started following fitness programs, I threw the nutrition guidance out the window. I believed that I could follow the fitness routines and still eat whatever I wanted. I told myself - I want balance, I refuse to starve myself, fitness models aren’t happy, etc. You get the picture! #excuses
And, truth be told, my body did begin to change with fitness alone.
The saying KNOWLEDGE is POWER is so true!
The moment I started following the nutritional guidance accompanied with my fitness routine, my results improved tremendously!
Not only could I “see” a difference but I could “feel” it too. We have all heard the phrase #absaremadeinthekitchen & it’s so true!
I eat more NOW than I ever did before. And, the food I eat is DAMN GOOD! Hey, I’m not perfect. I don’t always choose the healthiest, clean option. But, I think about my decisions BEFORE I make them and I understand that what I’m eating makes a BIG IMPACT on my overall well-being.
My breakfast this AM was 2 ❤️ (protein: bacon and eggs), 1 💚 (veggies: air fryer Brussels), and 1 tsp (coconut oil).
I have followed portion control and timed nutrition. They both use containers but in timed nutrition, @autumncalabrese tells us what food group combos to eat and when. My results were 💣.com with timed nutrition and remain stellar with portion control.
Some of my biggest lessons learned. I like to eat too many carbs - yep! Love me some carbs. And, I wasn’t eating enough veggies. Not too mention, my portion sizes used to be WAY TOO BIG. Why eat until the point of being uncomfortable?! Why did that even make sense to me???

I like to keep it simple and fast without sacrificing all the deliciousness 😋 Today’s breakfast consisted of 🥑 toast topped with Turkey bacon which takes 10mins (15 if you like it extra crunchy).

I 💗 weetabix with warm milk for breakfast (sometimes chocolate milk) but I hate the packaging. So out cape the tupperware

I choose budget friendly wheat biscuits @ 75p for a box of 24. Yes you can tell the difference but the saving is work it and none of the family have complained YET 😂
We just got a breakfast sandwich maker and I am IN LOVE with it! It’s super easy to use and makes perfect sandwiches. We were buying those Jimmy Dean sandwiches for the kids, but now we can make way better ones and control what’s in them. I make my own turkey sausage and we have our own eggs from our chickens. I really feel good about being able to provide more natural, healthy food for our family! This morning I used whole wheat sandwich thins, spinach, Colby jack cheese, turkey sausage and eggs. #farmfresheggs#breakfastideas#healthyfood#healthybreakfast
When cooking veggies I always have the tendency to chop up enough for an ARMY. Best way to use the leftovers? Reheat and place at the bottom of a yummy breakfast hash! I love making meals I can recreate over and over again but use different things to make them feel new. What’s your favorite use for leftover veggies?

Tired of using oats for everything from oatmeal to granola bars? Switch it up with barley, wheat or triticale flakes! 🌾🌾 And you guessed it, they're all on sale this week - $0.20/100g 🙌
Using the same process used to make oats - steaming and flattening the whole grain - barley, wheat and triticale flakes offer something different to your recipes. .
All three flakes are whole grain so they offer lots of protein, carbs and are low in fat 💪. These grains hold up better when cooked so you'll notice a chewier texture in your oatmeal and a firmer flake in a granola.
Triticale and wheat flakes can both be cooked using a ratio of 1 cup flakes to 2 cups liquid, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 15 - 20 min. Barley flakes cook with a ratio of 1 cup flakes to 3 cups water and simmer for 20 min. 👌
