Aidyn Benson Webb made his entrance into the world at 3:57 am. We are so incredible thankful for this little bundle of sweetness. Thank you for all your prayers.

This girl tests my patience and sanity every single day but goodness she is just my favorite 4 year old ever! We had a Kenna and Mama date tonight and she talked my ear off and made me laugh so hard and I think it was what we both needed! Love my bigs! ❤️ #dailydoseofkenna
It’s 40 degrees in Perth and I am staying locked inside this aircon! 😓☀️😩 I was feeling cranky about it this morning, but decided I’m going to lean into it instead. We’ve got movies, popcorn, a pitcher of mocktail and pulling the mattress into the living room. Woo!! Pic via @olivecreativeco

Okay, here it goes. I’ve wrestled a lot with this topic, primarily because I’ve dealt with body issues most of my life (and yes, accepting my pregnant body definitely had its moments). But also because this is a SENSITIVE subject. But I believe I’m here to say hard things.
I feel like this needs to be talked about more because of our skewed view of what a “fit pregnancy” looks like. Just do a quick search on Pinterest for that term. What I saw was not my idea of what a “fit” pregnancy should be advertised as. Yet, these images and links are at the top of the search results. Why? Because women are clicking on those images the most. We’re drawn to the images of women who fit into all their normal clothes during their entire pregnancy and we’re inspired by the thought of being able to have abs when you’re 39 weeks pregnant 🤯
Look, I know that all women’s bodies are different. I know that some don’t gain very much weight while pregnant. I know that some gain a lot. I know that some women carry it all in one place, while others 🙋🏼♀️ are blessed enough to get the weight all over the place. I WANT TO BE CLEAR that I’m not in any way putting down women who are petite and naturally don’t gain that much weight. Although I am super jealous, I am not trying to call out those bodies or put them down.
What I’d like to extinguish here is this narrative that it’s only sexy to be small and skinny when you’re pregnant. Or the narrative that says if you gain over ____ pounds, then you should be worried and ashamed. This new age of “Insta moms” and the pressure to be so beautiful and appealing to the world is destroying our expectations of what it means to be beautiful.
Ladies, we’re getting better about being honest and open with our postpartum bodies. But where is the message that says: Let’s be patient and kind to our pregnant bodies. This miracle that’s growing inside of you - it doesn’t require a body builder’s body. This body is temporary. We have the rest of our lives to be “fit.” Let’s define a new narrative of “healthy + pregnant.” Let’s stop idolizing the Photoshopped bodies and start appreciating and loving our bodies in all of their seasons. 🌿

An #Empty ! I definitely believe in shopping my own stash and this 1 minute mask did not disappoint. I talked a bit about it in my stories and added an #empties highlight on my main page if you want to watch it!
Fun fact - I don't own denim jeans (unless you count my $7 Kmart ones)! Another fun fact - it drives my cowboy husbo nuts!! 😆 So he took matters into his own hands and purchased a gift voucher specifically for 2x pair of jeans. If that's not a hint, I don't know what is 🤷♀️ So I'd rather stick forks in my eyes than go Jeans shopping.....It's just one of those things that makes my self-esteem head for ground zero (probably why I have zero denim in my wardrobe)! But I'd love to thank the gorgeous girls at @jeanswest Toowoomba for making a girl feel beautiful. I was in and out within 11 minutes and self-esteem is still intact! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 Better yet, I don't need to hem them up 5 inches!!! Best shopping experience ever!!!! #notasponsoredpost#notabitchysalesladyinsight#jeanswesttoowoomba
𖤉ᚖ𖤉 turns out giving the kids each a stack of post-its and a catalog you were going to throw out anyway and telling them to mark all of the things they like can buy you at least thirteen minutes to make tea or pee or heat up a burrito. WHO KNEW?!? 𖤉ᚖ𖤉 #smallmomentsofcalm#momsouttherekillingit
My plan for a Friday night: photographing some of the chocolate in my stash so I can eat it.

“I was addicted to this chaos. I thought all the doing and the busyness would keep me safe, but they kept me numb. If you’re not like me - prone to frantic levels of activity, swirling chaos, fast-moving cycles of over-commitment and resentment - then you might press your face up to the glass of my life with something like wonder and a little confusion. “Why don’t you,“ you might suggest gently, “just slow down?“ I find that’s a little bit like asking people with an alcohol addiction why they think they’re so thirsty. What makes sense to me is pushing, lists, responsibility, action, action, action. What’s changing my life is silence. Rest. Letting myself be fragile. Asking for help.” - Shauna Niequist (this book, people. It should be a required read for anyone who’s an Enneagram type 3 or has even the slightest sliver of a 3-wing) 👏🏻

I don’t sell oils. Young Living does that. I don’t have an inventory of stuff to sell you. Young Living does. 🌿 What I DO is educate my team on the products. I share knowledge that I have of the plants, the oils, the chemical constitutes of them, and other oily infused products and how to use them. I link arms with my beautiful, inspiring team & grow and learn. We walk along side of each other, whether a member is simply using & loving the products or growing their own business- we do it together. And it’s awesome. 🌿 That still makes it a small business 😉

Night out with these two while Dad was out of town for work. 💕
I plan on this being my view for at least the next two days as we wait out Old Man Winter. Snow isn’t my fave, BUT I love that it gives us an excuse to sit cozied up in front of the fireplace, keeps our whole family nestled together inside, and unexpectedly clears our calendar for a couple days. It is actually pretty dang magical to watch the world transform from a stark brown/grey landscape into a sparkling white wonderland. Bring on the books, the Netflix binging, hot tea, and cozy vibes!! How do you like to spend your snow days???
