Sundays are usually reserved for a day of rest, which mostly means hanging out inside. But this past weekend was so beautiful that I had to venture out! I took a trip to St. Jacob's, which is somewhere I don't get to often.
It's a quaint, little town with neat shops and delicious smelling bakeries. What I didn't know is that Sunday mornings are also restful for this place. Not many shops were open and it was basically a ghost town. Some people might be annoyed by that, but I saw it as an opportunity! A chance to drink in the architecture and oddities you find in small towns with absolutely zero distraction.
I found this gem up a street I had never been. Wanderlust has been a staple in my life for many years now, but it's always neat to satisfy that in small ways a bit closer to home.
Have you been anywhere exciting lately? Or have you (re)discovered places near by that have sparked interest?
