It’s up on YouTube now, but I have a confession. I was reluctant to include the process of making two layouts because the lighting wasn’t ideal, but I realized it’s more important to share ideas than to worry about the negative people who will rush to criticize or hit that thumbs down button. Someone decided on the Creativation video that my friends and I sounded “too high pitched, giggly and squeaky. Like a room full of Jr. High girls.” 😆 But bless their heart for misinterpreting the enthusiasm we have for connecting with other creatives who share a passion for papercrafting and doing things we love. There are so many reasons to be happy (and plenty to be angry about if that’s the road you choose).

This video shows how I made a mini ladder using popsicle sticks. It looks quite realistic so it would work well for small scaled models or dollhouse projects.

Momma is feeling way better, and is generally enjoying pregnant life. Bellybug’s kicks have been getting stronger and stronger and now Mommy can feel them. Which is very exciting.
Today was our last pretend day in beautiful Thailand and we spent it watching rescued tiger videos, talking about our someday Songkran dreams 💦🤩 and making these guys — cute little Thai lantern bugs 😁

We used tempera sticks to decorate their recycled cereal box bods and our all-time-fave ✨ PHOTO PAPER ✨ and gorgeous juicy super bright @fabercastellusa markers to design our own fancy lantern bug wings 😁😁

Coloring with markers on photo paper is super addictive! It’s so velvety smooth and the colors turn out extra super vibrant — LOVE!!

I don’t know if you’ve ever seen a real lantern bug photo but their wings and bodies are all covered in vibrant rainbowy patterns and we instantly fell in love after a little research 😍😍 How cute are those nosies?! (Check my stories for a peek at the real ones!)
