The small tree frogs, which vary in colour from bright green to brown, can be seen clinging onto each other as they hitch the free ride on the caiman’s back.
Yesen said 'The caiman looked a little bemused, but it did not seem to mind its new friends.' Caimans will usually eat frogs, as well as snails, freshwater crayfish, spiders and small lizards but these tree frogs.
Photographer Tanto Yensen, 36, from Jakarta, captured the images on his Canon EOS 60D when visiting Tangerang in Indonesia.
👁🗨@kellyofthewild This toothy fellow is an American Crocodile, a threatened species that lives in southern Florida and the only crocodile species found in the United States! In Florida, they’ve made a huge comeback compared to the 1970s when there were less than 300 left! With an estimated 2,000 adults living in the Everglades today, they can occasionally be seen catching a tan alongside their cousins, the American Alligator in the brackish waters of Biscayne Bay and the lower areas of Everglades National Park! —————————––—————————— www.kellyofthewild.com #americancrocodile#crocsrule#3d#painting#augmentedreality#art#artivism#artforchange#3dart#conservation#crocodile#wildlifeaddict
