  • Quick check in after 3 weeks of deep ketosis, kicked off with a 7-day water only fast. Here are 5 random things I’ve learned in that time: 1) ketone levels were 3x higher on this 7-day fast vs the prior.   • Decide what you want. Write it down, and do whatever it takes to get there. Fight for it even when you don't want it as bad cause if you really want it, it'll come back. Sacrifice for it. Bleed for it. Lose sleep for it. Go get it at all costs! That's what will separate you from those that just kind of want it!

  • Try It Tuesday - Tempo Lifting

Few people I work with have ever used tempo lifting. It is one of my go to's for a few reasons: .
1️⃣ it slows things down and...
.
2️⃣ it forces you to be present and focus on the contractions
.
3️⃣ it's a great opportunity for internal cues and allowing clients (or you) to connect with what they are feeling (pro tip: my favorite feedback is a question...What did YOU feel there?)
.
4️⃣ all the obvious strength and cardiovascular benefits .
Here are my two favorite protocols to finish out a strength day (use a 3 up, 3 down tempo..can you hear my metronome)
3 x 60 on, 60 off (add 1 set week)

Or 4x:40/:60, 6x:60/:60, 4x:60/:60, 6x :60/:60
.
