Today, we're taking a look at the Instagram bio. If you are a business, entrepreneur, coach, etc, your Instagram bio needs to be optimized. Humans have an attention span of like .45 seconds, so if someone lands on your profile, you want to quickly give them a clear idea of who you are, what you offer, and why they should follow you.

⚡️STEP ONE: Yo' name.
Alrighty, first I want you to take a look at your actual name.
Yes, seems simple, but sometimes overlooked. Since your name and username are the only fields that Instagram considers searchable, be sure your name is clearly discoverable. Take it one step further and add some relevant keywords to your actual name. For me, my name is Lizzie LaCour social media. See what I did there?

⚡️STEP TWO: What the hell do you do?
This is your chance to tell people what you do. Don't make it vague. Be specific. Think about your ideal audience and what their pain points are and how you can solve them. Clearly state that in your bio without a ton of fluffy wording. My friend @wholebodyhealing is a perfect example of this. She states exactly who she is (Holistic Health Coach) and who she helps (people living with autoimmune disease). She knows her target market, identifies their pain points, and how she can help solve them!

⚡️STEP THREE: Link, link, link
As a business owner, the end goal with social media should be to drive people to your website and convert them into loyal customers or clients. Be sure to have a trackable link to your website, blog, shopping page, etc. Determine where you want your traffic to go (this can change depending on your current goals), and send it there. Better yet, create a solid call-to-action in your bio to drive them to click on your link. If you want people to visit your latest blog post, type out "read the latest from the blog" with a finger pointed down. Make sure you can track your link! This will help you determine what is working and what isn't. Use @ or @linktr.ee or @bitly and create a landing page on your website with links.

We normally take Sundays off, but decided to make an exception today and came through for them with an 8 HD camera system installed for their restaurant. .
There's not a whole lot we won't do for our clients, and they know they can always count on us to deliver high quality and reliable services. .
