The other day i was asked on a podcast how you find your passion
I said “You find your purpose in your insecurities and suffering”
“Nothing in the world is worth having or worth doing unless it means effort, pain, difficulty… I have never in my life envied a human being who led an easy life. I have envied a great many people who led difficult lives and led them well”
This picture caught my eye this morning as a great representation of taking the easy route

Chances are the number 1⃣ thing that is crippling you right now from even taking the very first step is this thing called the perfectionist 🧠 mindset. And being a perfectionist or striving for perfection that is the thing that’s ⛔ stopping you right now. -
However, you know what, chances are this is a very convenient lie❗ It’s something that most 👥👥 people tell themselves saying to give themselves a reason why they haven’t started yet. Where they say, “Oh yeah, you know I haven’t done it yet. I haven’t released it yet because I’m a 💯 perfectionist.” I haven’t done my 📕 book yet, I haven’t completed yet because I’m a perfectionist. I haven’t had that report completed yet because I want it to be perfect. I don’t want to shoot that 📹 video because I want it to be perfect before I release it. -
Now this being a perfectionist is a very convenient 🤥 lie because at the end of it all don’t strive for perfection because it’s never going to be perfect. There’s no perfect 🗣 speech, there’s no perfect sales video, there’s no perfect book and being that perfectionist is the number 1⃣ thing that is ⏹ stopping you from taking action right now, so rather than trying to strive for perfection because there is no such thing, aim to strive for that progress, that inch by inch improvement every single day because at the end of the day, it’s not about having it perfected, it is progressing by that little inch.
So, the question is are you going to use perfectionism as an excuse for not progressing? “A real man in the dark - when nobody watching - he putting in work”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This concept is so true. Nobody sees the hard ass work that goes in when people become successful.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The 5am runs and watching training videos till you fall asleep and reading books till your eyes hurt.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The getting hung up on - the clients and potential clients yelling at you.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The fear that takes hold when you are placed in new situations (which is essentially the definition of an entrepreneur).⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You must learn to love the PROCESS.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Because there’s no such thing as overnight success...⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Behind every massive success - there’s massive hard work.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
These are my thoughts as I’m back in office on the weekend working on a new sales pitch and studying training videos so I can continue to improve.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Nobody told me to do this. Everyone tells⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
me I can “take some time off” or “take a break”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But what most people don’t understand is that there isn’t an option for me... I MUST continue to strive and improve. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I MUST look for every opportunity to get better.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’ve learned that what fulfills me and what fulfills humans is growth and progression toward goals.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This is a trained skill set. I didn’t just wake up one day with a sickening work ethic - it was developed and worked on for years.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Understand that - if you don’t have “motivation” to do it today - do it anyway. Get the job done. Get the task done. We underestimate how powerful it is to GET THINGS DONE.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Sooo with that being said happy Sunday y’all and love you guys let’s roll!!!!
How far can you see?
Henry Ford developed and manufactured the first automobile that many middle-class Americans could afford. If he had focused on what people wanted and didn't enVISION and Innovate, this would never have happened.
He was committed to lowering costs of things that only the very rich could afford. This resulted in many technical and business innovations, including a franchise system that put dealerships throughout America and the world. He also left most of his vast wealth to Ford Foundation which advances human welfare worldwide and has a 12.4 billion dollar endowment!
How far can you see? In your industry, career, organization, ministry, family and more?
What actions will you take to leave the world a better place?
"I can’t believe it! Contessa has literally changed my view on exercise. I used to think of it as a chore but now it’s a favourite part of my day. I love it! Thank you so so much." 😭😭😭 When @ruby_gracebell showed me this today I was very near in tears.
This is only a TWO MONTH transformation.
We know that we preach "it" being about health over aesthetics but with a drop in body fat such as this - It's hard not to appreciate both! 😍 #issheactuallybeyonce
People with lower back issues are often questioned about squatting-I get that quite often. However, through targeted exercises, you can train your glutes, hip flexors, quadriceps and hamstrings and thus reduce your risk of lower back injuries(form is key). And for people like me with old injuries, it enables you to be able to perform better, live a healthier life, and prevent further injuries.
This is my second leg workout of the week after quad day, it’s a pain in the butt, but you’ll feel amazing after you’re done (then you’ll hate yourself for about 3 days).
Posterior chain work:
-walking lounges 5 x 10 reps
-stiff leg deadlifts 20, 15, 10, 8, 6 reps
-back extensions 20, 15, 3 x 10 reps
-dumbbell walking lounges 20, 15, 20, 15, 20
-leg press (single) 20, 18, 16, 14, 12 reps
-box jump/jump squat 10, 8, 6, 5, 5 reps
-hamstring curls 5 x 20 reps
-standing calf raises 50 reps
-seared calf raises 50 reps
-hanging knee crunches 150 reps
