  • Today on the blog I shared some of the most Instagrammable corners of Rome and you better believe Via dei Coronari made the cut. But the truth is, I think Rome is just one city-sized photo op because there is so much beauty everywhere you look. #discoverrome

  • Incredible to look down at Piramide from this view and really see how the city of Rome has become a zipping modern capital that has grown up around its own ancient past. This is taken from inside Museo Via Ostiense - a funny, free museum that sits on a traffic island in the middle of one of the city’s busiest intersections. #discoverrome

  • Exhibit A for why it’s no big deal if the skies in Rome are gray- you can always find amazing layers of colors in this city, no matter the weather. #romeitaly

  • My last day in Italy, I spent it in Rome, attending a #markettotable cooking class hosted by @alicekiandra.adams and @carla_tomasi at lovely Latteria studio.
First thing in the morning, we visited Testaccio’s market to source all our ingredients (beautiful produces!) and then started cooking all together. Freshly baked maritozzi and fried chiacchiere were our companions throughout the whole class. We made lots of different things, including these focaccias with pears, gorgonzola and walnuts, followed by an onion and guanciale one.
We also prepared Roman style carciofi, puntarelle salad, Sardinian gnocchetti with broccoli and lastly, the most luscious walnut and chocolate cake with syrupy oranges.
A fun morning spent cooking seasonal and delicious dishes. I’ll definetely be back soon!

  • I thought I’d be fluent in Italian by now, or at least be able to order a caffè macchiato 😂 But so far I’ve only managed to sound like a babbling idiot every time I speak 🤷🏼‍♀️ Luckily I’ve got plenty of time to practise - I’ll have perfected ordering that caffè by the time I leave Italy!

  • I usually get drawn in by Rome’s flashy sunburnt walls and brilliant blue sky, but I also fall for its delicate as eggshell buildings and white covered tables overlooking a buzzing piazza #discoverrome

  • Being English, one of the little things I’ll probably never get over living here is the cost of a cup of tea...€4/5!!! For hot water!!! But if you’re gonna spend that (+ a little more for some berry cheesecake 😍) Madeleine is the place to go ☝🏼
