The Granary Café at The Silo Hotel is open to the public by prior reservation for lunch and dinner 7 days a week. The contemporary bistro style menu focuses on fresh, seasonal and local produce in one of the world’s most spectacular spaces while the carefully curated wine list showcases the best of South Africa.
Must try starters include the mushroom and tofu potsticker with rooibos, tamarind, a sprout salad and vegan aioli (R125) and the poached duck egg with watercress veloute, asparagus and a mustard dressing (R115). For main course, the prawn tagliatelle with pecorino, spring onion and sambal oelek butter is sublime (R235) while the cape seafood curry offers a true taste of the Cape (R265). For special occasions, a pre-dinner drink on The Silo Rooftop is a must.
