  • Morning silence...
.
.
This photo was taken this past summer before the government shutdown. Praying that people don’t visit Yosemite at this time, as so humans aren’t respecting the land and taking advantage of the parks. Makes me sick that there’s such a high volume of people coming through and disrespecting the land, leaving trash wherever, and parking where they please, etc. It really is such a magical place and that is why we cannot destroy it 😣 ! What is happening in this world rn... .

What I liked the most about Felicity was the church, Instel wanted to build it on top of a hill and so he did ... He called The Hill of Prayer and nobody really understood why he wanted to build a church in his town if he was not religious ... Maybe it was to send a message because it is a church in the middle of the desert, more than 40 degrees, with a lot of stairs and no shadow in the whole town that you can not be accessed in the car ... I assure you that God does not go to that church ... And it is more than the center of the world, that seemed to me the hell 🔥🔥Felicity, CA August 2019

The point is not to work out what it is, but to show how weird and wonderful the world can look from above.

  • I found out the other day that Olympus was the highest regarded camera brand in Japan which I thought was pretty surprising. Which brand do you think is the highest regraded where you live? That doesn’t necessarily mean the best brand, but the one most non camera people think of! 📷

🙋🏻‍♀️ When you are driving on I8 just past the line that divides California from Arizona you see in the middle of nowhere a staircase that leads nowhere, a pyramid and a church ... As in the USA, any sign on the road is an attraction assured as you stop. I already told you about the staircase in another post but not about the place ... That place is called Felicity, it has 2 inhabitants and in it is "The official center of the world" and the story is totally surreal and curious ... Jacques Andre-Istel in 1985, wrote a children's book entitled "Coe, the good dragon in the center of the World" and a year later he founded the city of Felicity, named after his wife, Felicia. There he built a pyramid in the exact place where he said in the story that it was the center of the world. In 1985, the County of Imperial in California recognized it as the official center of the world as well as in 1989 the World Geographical Institute of the Government of France .... and after that they tell me that it is not worth traveling by road in the USA..Felicity,CA August 2018

  • There is a long way to go 🚙
Los Angeles🌴 → Arizona🏜
