  • I don’t know if anyone else experiences this; I’m sure there must be those who do... but over the last few years, I have had this totally paralyzing fear of being “vulnerable” or really putting myself out there in basically all of the areas of my life that I actually care about. It’s been my biggest road block towards feeling settled and happy lately. I’m not even just talking about relationships (although that is a big part of it)... Even when it comes to putting my ideas out there in regards to what I want to do in my life, there is always that fear bubbling beneath the surface that things may not go as planned and I’ll find myself more disappointed if it doesn’t work out in the end, having jumped all in. At that point, I end up deciding that it’s safer to control the situation and just not put myself in it at all.
For me, I can logically recognize that putting two feet into whatever I take the time to invest my heart and soul into will be the only way to reap the rewards, but there’s a mental block every... friggin... time. If you feel me, what do you do to combat this? I’m really at the point where I want to take control of having that way of thinking. #realtalk #evenwritingthispostwastestingmywillingnesstobevulnerable #happyfamilyday 🙄

  • everyone has a dream...not an average one, that one special dream from their childhood...so mine was to grow up and explore the epoch of dinosaurs. I wanted to be an archeologist...I actually was ready to dig for years to find that one special unique, my own dinosaur! as a child I had tons of books, encyclopaedias and cards about dinos. I knew their habits, daily meals and all other data... and as soon as I came to Canada one of my dreams was to visit Royal Tyrell Museum @royaltyrrell of dinosaurs in Drumheller. but every single time I wanted to go there were excuses... but...today was THAT day! I did it! great variety of fossils and almost perfectly saved bones of prehistoric creatures. insane. I’m still impressed!you can see what was going on earth not hundreds or thousands years ago... millions... 120-140 millions years ago... can you just imagine that your life, your problems are nothing to history, to time... you overthink a lot... therefore, the main idea is that if you do things right, your dreams come true... as one of mine became today
