When you travel, do you prefer hotels or Airbnb? Would you sleep at this one Airbnb, in South Africa surrounded by 70 lions🦁? The Lion House set right on the @ggconservation The three-bedroom house costs around $100 and offers you a chance to sleep only a few feet away from 70 lions that live in the sanctuary😱 Wouldn’t that be an awesome experience❓😅 Btw, the money you pay for the house go towards the conservation, helping support and protect the lions! So, who wants to go? 💯🙋🏼♀️ ~

Life was meant to great adventures and close friends.
We had a little day out to Durdle Door this weekend, and we watched the most beautiful sunset. It’s funny how being by the sea can make your worries completely disappear. 💛

I wanted to surprise a local expat living here in Yangon with the best view of the city at sunset. He had plans to take me elsewhere (seeing as he was the one living there) but I persisted for him to trust me and the place I had in mind. As we entered the dated hotel lobby he raised an eyebrow as if to question “you sure we’re in the right place?” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Oh yes, I nodded. This is it. (Turns out we really were in the wrong place, and after punching every floor in the elevator, I realized I had mixed them up 😂. A short drive down the street later and we were, in fact, at the right place. The lobby was just as dated.)
As the elevator doors parted to the open roof bar terrace, we were hit with the most incredible view overlooking the lake and pagodas. However, the overcast day didn’t promise the pastel-painted sky we had hoped for. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As we ordered our G&T’s proclaiming “too bad about the clouds,” the sun set and reflected the boldest blood orange tinge onto the clouds I had ever seen. It couldn’t have been any more of a perfect send off to end my last night in Myanmar, a county I’ve since fallen in love with and can’t wait to go back to.
Ways to my heart:
1. Buy me food
2. Make me food
3. Be food
Here's a contrasting pic: from Malaysia's fine dine to the street food markets. BTW, would you like to see some pics and videos from the night market? We found some cool food (literally, and you'll see what I mean). Lemme know your thoughts!
Chiang Mai’s temples? Completed them ✅ 😂 haha just kidding there’s actually thousands and I’ve been to sayyyy 12 of them! .
. #templetip - wear flip flops / sliders (you have to take your shoes on and off a lot), cover up with some loose pants (preferably with elephants on) and cover your shoulders too 🙌🏼

Cutest little lifeguard tower on the beach of Saint James 🌟 You can find these colourful towers all along the coast - and I couldn’t help to take a picture each time 😂 So Instagram-ready 👌🏼
—• On another topic, yesterday we were walking along the beach in the morning and we saw little Apple like fruits all over the beach 🍏 Jake picked up one to check it and split it in half. It smelled AMAZING, like apple candy or the best green apple you ever smelled. We were really intrigued, so we both licked the fruit (now realising how stupid of us it was!). It tasted as good as the smell but we stopped there and Jake threw the fruit away in the sea. After that we went for a snorkel at that same beach, and after half an hour, I started feeling a peppery after taste in my mouth and it became like a burning feeling at the back of my throat. My tongue was also sensitive like if I had too much spicy food 🌶 I told Jake and he confesses having the same sensation. Both of us were wondering if it was something we had for dinner last night, and after an hour the sensation was getting stronger. We went to shop an ice cream to sooth the inflammation and remove this nasty taste. It finally passed and we managed to have a nice lunch without any disturbance. 🙏🏼 Later in the day, a friend told us we just tasted THE MOST DANGEROUS FRUIT in the WORLD 🤯 Manchineel! Please be super careful if you ever go to the Caribbean or South America. It is a deadly fruit if you eat it and even the leaves or any contact to the juice can be dangerous - blindness, diarrhoea, swollen throat, suffocation☠️ I will post a picture of the fruit in my story! Really surprised no one talk about it not any signs on the beach to prevent kids to eat them by accident! 🍏💣

Last year right at this time in January 2018, I decided to travel solo throughout Cuba🇨🇺 . And let me tell you this, it was one of the best travel experiences ever for me. Back home in the US, I’ve gotten comments like, “So dangerous why are you going to Cuba?” or “You are going backwards in time!” Honestly speaking, the US media portrays Cuba in such a wrong total opposite manner. When I stepped foot into Cuba, I was suprised how tremendously safe it is, and MUCH MUCHOOOO safer than the US and many other places I’ve traveled to. Guns are banned in Cuba, and people are always smiling and saying, “Hola” to you. Kids and women can walk out late at night safely, and even salsa bailamos with the locals while enjoying Habana rum on the street. Yes, you do go backwards in time, and I’m not sure how the WiFi situation is now in 2019, but that is also the charm of Cuba. Just to keep yourself from the World Wide Web infused planet. That’s why things like “social bullying” doesn’t exist in Cuba which is a grande problema en el mundo. PLEASE visit Cuba if you have the chance and don’t get the wrong idea of this absolutely beautiful country full of lovely people......and most importantly, before Cuba changes🇨🇺❗️ #cuba#travelcuba#kooba#キューバ
