  • CROSTATA TIMIDA DI MELE.
Si sente bruttina, non vuol farsi fotografare. 
Non si rende conto di quanto sia buona, anche se glielo dicono tutti. 
INGREDIENTI
Per la frolla:
- 220 gr. di farina di farro;
- 80 gr. di nocciole tritate finissime;
- 120 gr. di burro;
- 50 gr. di zucchero di canna;
- 1 uovo;
- 1/2 cucchiaino di lievito;
- un pizzico di sale. 
Per la farcitura:
- 500 ml. di latte;
- 125 gr. di zucchero;
- 40 gr. di farina 00;
- 4 tuorli;
- Una bacca di vaniglia;
- 2 mele Renette;
- Succo di limone. 
Impastare velocemente tutti gli ingredienti per la frolla. Ottenuto un panetto omogeneo, avvolgerlo in una pellicola e lasciarlo riposare in frigorifero per almeno mezz'ora. 
Nel frattempo preparare la crema. Mettere a scaldare il latte, meno mezzo bicchiere, insieme ai semi di vaniglia. 
In un altra casseruola sbattere i tuorli con lo zucchero e aggiungere la farina. Stemperare con il mezzo bicchiere di latte freddo lasciato da parte. Aggiungere il latte caldo un po' per volta, amalgamando bene per evitare la formazione di grumi e rimettere tutto su fuoco basso. Mescolare continuamente finché la crema si sarà addensata e lasciar intiepidire. 
Stendere la frolla con un mattarello, adagiarla in uno stampo da crostata del diametro di 26 cm e bucherellarla. Riempire il guscio di frolla con la crema. Decorare il tutto con fettine di mela sottili, precedentemente irrorate di succo di limone per evitarne l'ossidazione. 
Infornare a 180° per 35-40 minuti. 
Provatela e ditele anche voi di credere di più in sé stessa.

This is truly a great place for tacos (their speciality) as they are made to order so the fillings are made sure to be succulent, piping hot and full of flavour. You most likely be waiting for your order as it is quite popular so I would suggest you use your wait time to enjoy the cool market shops. A must try for #streetfood enthusiasts!

  • Barbeque Nation serves one of the best buffets in Chandigarh. 
From Starters to Main Course to Desserts to Drinks, they excel in all. Their "live grill" on the table is a very unique concept and a trademark in itself. The thing that I like the most about them is that they serve both quality and variety not only in non-veg but also in veg. 
This post is going to be a review on Veg Buffet. .

Talking about their starters, they serve barbequed paneer, mushroom, pineapple and potato. Barbequed paneer, mushroom and potato taste really nice but I feel that the taste of barbequed pineapple is average.
In an ascending order of preference I'll go for, 
Paneer > Potato > Mushroom > Pineapple.
Among the starters only, they also serve Cajun Spicy Baby Potato and Veg Kebabs. Cajun Spicy Baby Potatoes literally have my heart. They're super duper tasty. Veg Kebabs taste delicious as well.❤

Coming on to their Main Course, they mostly serve Soup, Veg Biryani, Veg Noodles, Dal, a dish of Paneer and a Veg Continental Dish. All of the delicacies are well cooked and with a perfect balance of spices taste really delicious. .
Their Desserts too consist of a good variety. They mostly serve you gulabjamun in hot dessert, one cold Indian dessert, walnut and chocolate brownies, two to three varieties of pastries or puddings, vanilla ice cream and fruits. And all of them have a quality taste and are perfect. . .

The ambiance is good too and the dark coloured furniture compliments the lighting.
And not to mention, Barbeque Nation is known for its courteous staff🌟
The staff adds to the delight of visiting the restaurant.🌸😁
