“The best education you will ever get is traveling. Nothing teaches you more than exploring the world and accumulating experiences.” - Mark Paterson
When we visited Audley End House last weekend, we stopped on the way back in Saffron Walden. This little town has the most picturesque little streets full of history, old buildings, ruins of castle and market square which dates back to 1141. The kinda place that takes you back in time, so you try to imagine how the life was like 700 yrs ago.
I think it's important to get a real balance when you travel. Where possible give back, where possible learn something new, where possible explore somewhere new, where possible hike, where possible try a new sport, where possible eat something new ... and where possible try to take a moment to take it all in!
New You Tube video out Tomorrow. We're doing a whole series on Travel in Cambodia Thailand and Laos.

“The sea is as near as we can come to another world” 💦
During the summer, we spent a few months on a road trip around Australia. I don’t think any visit to Australia would be complete without exploring the Great Barrier Reef; it really does feel like you could be in another world entirely. Can we go back already please?!
P.s. this is our first time trying to edit an underwater photo from our GoPro so let us know what ya think! ✌🏼
Thanks for such a fun day @divers_den!
This is what we want our lives to be. This is our dream. Spending our time together. Whether that is exploring the city or having a fun Sunday making #fancynancy music videos. We are oh so thankful.
🤷🏻♀️How do you educate your kids when you travel full time?🚌
We want our kids to 💕love 💕 learning. And sitting at a desk *all the time* wasn’t cutting it. Don’t get me wrong, we still do desk work & I don’t think we have yet struck the right balance of desk vs. experiential learning. BUT, this past year as we traveled the Lewis & Clark Trail, we saw our kids learn to appreciate the struggle, rewards, and wonder of this group of explorers- something they would never get from a textbook.📚 .
