  • 🖤Karl Lagerfeld did so much for the French haute couture that maybe no one has ever done. 🖤
.
💎He just made it modern again.💎
.
Through Chanel Haute Couture and then with Métiers d’Art collections, he made it fashionable again, and thanks to his work, all this rock, R&B and pop stars, Hollywood actresses, all this young, beautiful and talented happy few, wear haute couture now. 📸 from @voguerunway
.
Without Karl Lagerfeld’s culture, Paris haute couture could be very different.
.
Why?
.
When Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Berge, among others, have launched the ready to wear, haute couture (made to measure) fashion became obsolete.
.
Most of the hand workers in French fashion started to disappear, and couture ateliers to close. .
Karl Lagerfeld not only photographed Haute Couture for the leading magazines like Harper’s Bazaar, he literally kept alive many Paris haute couture professions because Chanel bought several haute couture ateliers and you certainly know some of them now: Lesage (embroidery), Goossens (jewelry), Lemarie (feathers), Maison Michel (hats).
.
It became the essence of the Métiers d’Arts collections, where each piece immediately became💰💰💰 collector, as everything signed Chanel, generally. .
Thanks to Karl Lagerfeld, a lot of great professionals with the rare knowledge have a well paid job that they ❤️
.
Thank you Monsieur Lagerfeld.
.
«Le départ d’un créateur iconique et talentueux, au revoir monsieur Lagerfeld » says Aurelie Vibet. «Iconic and talented designer has left us, au revoir Monsieur Lagerfeld »
.
Find in bio some quotes from his conference at Paris Science Po University where he speaks about his learning in Paris couture ateliers. .
The best tribute to Karl is to learn from him, trying to acquire at least a small part of his dignity and culture. .
Grow Karl in yourself. .

  • "#JussieSmollett Staged His Attack Because He Was Unhappy About His Salary
.
.
Empire actor Jussie Smollett staged a fake hate crime attack on himself because he was unhappy about his pay on the hit Fox show, Chicago police said Thursday.
.
.
“The stunt was orchestrated because he was dissatisfied with his salary,” Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson told reporters in a Thursday morning news conference. .
.
“Jussie Smollett took advantage of the pain and and anger of racism to promote his career.” Johnson, who appeared visibly angry, called Smollett’s actions “despicable. .
.
The actor turned himself into police early Thursday after he was charged Wednesday night with felony disorderly conduct in filing a false police report.
.
.
Smollett, who is black and openly gay, told police he was the victim of a hate crime, claiming on Jan. 29, that two people yelled homophobic and racist statements at him, beat him, threw bleach on him and put a noose around his neck. .
.
Among the things he said the attackers shouted was “this is MAGA country,” a reference to President Donald Trump’s Make America Great Again campaign slogan.
.
.
Johnson said Smollett had paid two Nigerian brothers, $3,500, by check, to stage the attack after he sent himself a letter with racist and homophobic language in order to gain attention."#view9ja #marriage #election #support #politics #entertainment #asseenontwitter #instagram #tundeednut ##ifuennada #ceecee #nina #children #parents #relationship #dating #court #family #union #styles #dress #fashionschool #nigeria
