Hi everyone, my name is Kristhine and I moved to Canada about 8 years ago, because my mom wanted me to have a better future. When I moved to Canada, I found my passion in photography. I love being able to capture moments in time whether it be at a social gathering, a food tasting event or exploring The Forks.
The first thing I ate when I stepped off the plane was A&W’s papa burger and now my go-to places in Winnipeg is Deer and Almond for the Manitoba pickerel and Promenade Cafe for the PEI Mussels and Frites. However, there will always be a special place in my heart for my mom’s palabok or pancit — nothing beats that.
I may not be a Canadian born citizen, but can truly say I love Winnipeg and that people I’ve met so far. It really is one great city! So please, follow me while I navigate my way through every local restaurant.
