  • Today's Loki's seventh birthday. For every like this post gets, I'll give him seven stomach rubs. Be generous! He deserves it.

My gift to him is a hiking pack for dogs. Martha and are planning camping trips for the summer. We're looking forward to taking him to upstate Michigan and Algonquin National Park.

  • The Grand Canion and it's natural beauty.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
I've seen him from my very first day on earth. It was always hanging there. A picture with two distinctive lines. Two lines which let me think in another way, in a way that no other kid understood. I felt ashamed of not thinking like all my friends did. But when I stood infront of this framing I feel apprehendet. It's a photograph of the biggest idol in my life. Ansel Adams.
Ansel broke up whit school because he was different, he was different in many ways. His father understood him and tried to foster Ansel wherever he could. After playing the piano for a long time he found his passion in photography. Due to the reasen of the impressive Yosemite Valley where his grandfather brought him to. This is where everything started. The framing on the wall. Happy birthday Mr. Adams

I think I came a step closer to the idea what my art should express. I'm returning home after a inspiring trip through the South of Vietnam. And there it starts. Most people travel to the north because they know that there they will get the best views, the best photographs and more support on social media. The south is way different from the north. But the main reason I loved about staying in the south was that I would photograph people, boats and landscapes not many other travelers have seen before. So it's the unknown which inspires me the most, the "be different" and stay away from the crowd of toursits. Of course I also like to photograph places many people have seen before but this makes it possible to really live my art.
