När gör man saker för att det är kul och för att det går en något och när gör man det av slentrian? Tänker på mitt "hängande" här på Insta. Först tyckte jag det var idiotiskt att gilla okända människors bilder. Sen kom jag på att det kanske var ett bra sätt att marknadsföra min firma (det sket sig 🙄) och sen kom jag på att jag kunde använda inläggen som nån blogg för att dela med mig av mitt liv och främst då min livsstilsförändring.
Fast det är ju liksom samma varje dag 😳 "Hej jag har tränat i dag också, Hej, jag har ätit enligt kostschema i dag också, Hej, jag kör på som vanligt och behöver inte "börja om" i dag heller" ... Ja, ni fattar.. 😏
Jag är nog inne i en period överlag där jag vill MER. Slentrian är inte min grej, liksom. Tänker att även ni tröttnat på mitt "samma tugg" varenda dag.
Så nu måste jag tänka till. Lägga ner detta, snäppa upp mig, visa andra delar ur mitt liv...
I varje fall kördes det bröst, axlar och triceps i dag på gymmet. Nu är tanken tre dagars stenhård träning och sen en vilodag. I morgon är det fredag och det ska faktiskt bli skönt med helg.

Tbh, I get really uncomfortable in the gym sometimes 🙈 Yes I’m a personal trainer and yes I love working out, but the gym can be intimidating for me too. I love filming my workouts, but hate doing it when it’s crowded. I take most of my “gym selfies” in the gym bathroom when no one’s around lol. But today I went out of my comfort zone, worked out in a sports bra, took this pic & vid in the middle of the gym and crushed my shoulder workout. It felt really good (still a little uncomfortable lol) but proud of myself anyways ☺️ #gooutofyourcomfortzone#idkwhyialwaysdothispose

🚫CENSORSHIP (in dieting) 🚫
I was running; my strides matched the tempo of my music & it felt AWESOME - until the vocals muted. Apparently I downloaded the clean version. It broke my flow. All I could focus on were the pockets of silence haphazardly sprinkled throughout the song. Far less enjoyable.
Censorship: sometimes necessary, sometimes just annoying. Kind of like restrictive dieting.
Cutting out the “bad” & keeping the “good” at expense of your personal satisfaction.
Like bringing a pear to a birthday party because a magazine/your trainer/Betty from the office told you refined sugars are BAD & you should cut them out & “satisfy your sweet tooth” with fruit is like when your song comes on & you’re in the ZONE then suddenly…silence.
Like I said – far less enjoyable.
There are applications to 'censorhip' - both music & diet. I (usually) used clean versions of songs for my cycle classes at UF - this is policy. To parallel, I have clients who must avoid dairy & gluten for certain medical conditions - this is necessary. But too often these online coaches give out restrictive diets when it’s NOT necessary.
I’m sure we can all agree that the clean version plagued by long stretches of muted vocals COMPLETELY ruins the song - just as strictly ‘clean’ diets kind of ruins the pleasure of/relationship with food. This is where macros may be beneficial to some while stressful for others. As a nutrition/health coach, it's my job to decide when this dietary 'censorship' is appropriate by need or necessity.
